Timesplitters Future Perfect (ps2 and xbox) My X-box impression and stats so far.

I've found that 16 people online is difficult to make 'fun' anyway. There are so many internet connections going that it slows the whole game down. I like to play online with 4 to 8 players in most games anyway. 8 being a rarity.

Perhaps I'll check this out next time I go to EB.
 
I really liked TS2 for Xbox, its a pity I'm so crap at it. Never even managed to finish the first level on normal (& I refuse to play it on easy), I nearly did it the last time I played but didn't notice a soldier was hiding behind me as I jumped into the turret. Me = dead, again. I'm better at Halo but I'm not a Halo fan, I guess I'm just too used to PC shooters ;)
 
 
I've got to about 20.5% of this and I'm not slowing down at all. It's incredible!

I only wish I had some sort of cash so I could buy a network adapter and see some of you on the end of my Shotgun. :lol:

Have you been playing the story mode or the challenges? Some of the challenges are quite funny. :lol:
I have platinum on several of them. Yes platinum. It doesnt show up on the list but if you get it they let you know. You can only see bronze, silver, and gold. If necessary I can get pics of the platinum rewards.
I have only went thru a few missions on the story mode. I havent even played this in a few days. Made one map and want to try it sometime online.
 
Yeap, I think I have 3 or 4 platinums. The easiest to get them are on the Virus arcade league missions but if you could post up yours so I can see what to aim for exactly on the others?

I've been playing through both...I'm on level 3 co-op story and level...8 on single player. :)
 
Ill post some of the stats up in a couple days including the platinum medals. ;)
My girlfriend and I played to level 2 or 3 in the storymode under CO-op.
 
Jack, what difficulty are you playing on?

Me and Bing got on Co-op 6/7 in a few hours :D

[EDIT] By the way, game is great. Weapons look less cartoonie and alot of the maps have been touched up.

Number of characters is greater than ever (cyborg monkey and ninja monkey :P). 2 player is still strong but I haven't played single yet.

Normal I think. Oh, and I'm only on level 3 co-op because the only person worthy of being my sidekick is you. So haul ass over here so we can get further, capiche? ;)
 
UPDATE. Im 20.7% through the game.

Here are a couple of my Platinum trophies.
1. Lap it up --- 1min 59.3 seconds Lap it up

2. The cats pajamas --- 2min 23.8 seconds Pajamas

3. Brass Monkeys 3620 points Brass

Dont forget to do the "leagues" in single player. It unlocks a lot more people.
 
Wow this game looks pretty cool, I think I need to get it now. And by what you guys are saying the action just doesn't stop.
 
Im doing "leagues" right now. I just cant believe how much there is to do in this game between making your own maps and playing them online, story mode, challenge mode, leagues which is another form of challenge. Im going to play this or a few more hours tonight. It gets better and better the more I play. I really like knowing that I will unlock characters and levels every time I play something. You win something even if you get a bronze. :)
So far the online play is very tough so im getting more practice in single player for now. And so I can unlock more characters for online.
The breaking glass missions in challenge have been my favorie so far. Everyone likes to break stuff but in this game you get rewards for it. :D
 
Ya I will have to pick it up for the Box since trying to figure out Sony's on-line thing doesn't work well with me for some reason. In fact I think I will go out tomarrow morning and just buy it.
 
I think I'm on 30.3%. I have about 5 Platinums now: 2 virus (very easy to get platinum), one bagtag level, one zone level and "Behead the Undead" level 1. :)
 
How you doing percentage wise? I think I just hit 45% and completed the Story Mode on Normal. I've never had Game Over as much as I did in the penultimate level. =/

I was updating the percentage in my first post. Last I checked I was around 31.5%. I got Doom 3 last night so I will probably give Timesplitters 3 a little break for now.

I got the game yesterday, but I don´t know if the server was offline at the moment or my connection is the one having problems. EA´s online games are giving me a headache these days, it has some conflict with my comp. I´ll try later this evening, if the problem persists the only way for me to play it online will be formating my computer, which I have to do it anyway.

I played the first mission on single player mode, the game is very fluid to play and the story seems nice, movie style.

Start doing the challenges and the leagues in the single player. Those are the most fun. The story mode is ok but the all the other stuff is what makes this game so fun.
 
I finally got the game! And the space to save it.

This isn't the first time I played it, played it over Jacks, and I've got some good medals (2 platinums, silvers and a bronze. I've only done 5)

But how the hell do you kill the cow carcases best with the dart gun? Something gotta be better than circling the room firing 3 into each one.
 
Exige...hide behind the table that's kiddie-corner, and kill the fast moving ones first...Then as they approach get them from your closest side first, then the furthest side...once they start flodding in....just run in circles....
 
I run in circles anyway :lol:
It's just a few of the clever ones try cutting me off and occasionly block me in a corner. :grumpy:

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any special technique.
