So I finally decided to upgrade my 9 year old Sony Trin (about time, I know). First off, please note that this is not the last TV I'm planning on buying. This one only needs to last at most 5 years. That said, price, as opposed to conenctions, features, etc, was the deciding factor more than anything. I picked up a Vizio 32" LCD for $700. After getting the kids to bed, I spent the next few hours re-running all of the cables (before, all of the video went to the receiver and then one RCA to the TV as that was all I had to use
) and callibrating the TV. Now all of the video goes to the TV and all audio to the receiver, like it should. Enough talk. Now on to the pictures.
Obviously, this is the old TV. No, it doesn't look nearly that bad. I just didn't feel like setting up the tripod and camera settings. The LCD looks a lot better than this in person, also:
Both TV's next to each other:

I was a bit sceptical about buying a Vizio, but so far am very happy with it. The Mets - Cards game look outstanding last night.
