How can you beat this challenge easily? I really dislike this one,but I want the TGTT for Practice Mode.. I have the feeling the developers never watched Top Gear. The track is made to test out cars,not to have over 12 sambabusses race on.
Just try and not lose too much speed through the corners and you'll be fine. They don't have very powerful engines, so if you can carry enough speed through the corners it will be worth a lot.
Cheat... Check YouTube.com Something like "GT5 Top Gear easy gold"
.. You can bypass the second half of the track and pull the EBrake and spin around at the starting line and come back for your second lap and repeat
My advice, if you haven't done so already, is to make sure that all assists are off. The assists slow the van down dramatically in corners. Plus, as slow as the Samba is, you shouldn't need 'em.
Just in case you cannot find the video ill try to explain with this picture.. Follow the lap as usual and when you come to "Follow-Through" you will see two sets of cones on your left and one set on your right.. You have to drive between the cones without hitting them going back towards the start/finish line.. You will the. Be driving backward on the first straight away.. Slow down for the start finish line then AS SOON AS YOU CROSS THE LINE (NOT BEFORE) slide it around and go over the start line line the proper direction and run your second lap and repeat this cheat on that lap also If necessary.. This works for all 3 challenges.. Enjoy!
I cant even get to the damn followthrough because of the BS disqualification rules. They crash all they want but as soon as you accidently bump into one of them...this is so infuriating. Who at PD in their right mind would think this would be FUN?!
