I was wondwering if you guys also get the tribal fusion popup when you are searching here ,wich is one of the nastiest adwares ,i have 2 popups blockers and pccillin 2005,but evertime i click on a thread puop comes up.. ...
 
That doesn't sound like it's coming from GTplanet.

In fact, from my tester account, I don't ever get it. The tester account I use is no different than a regular new member account.

Jordan has been very diligent in keeping known adware pop-ups off GTP. I think he has excluded pop-ups entirely. The only adds we should have here are on page adds.

I'll double check and see if I get any today.

If you are not signed in, you will get pop-ups. Yes, they come from Tribalfusion. If you are logged in while surfing you'll only get advertisements in threads, you will not get pop-ups from GTplanet.

If Tribalfusion ads are documented, on a respected website, as adware please let us known and we'll adapt to counter that.

What I mean, is that if you can PM a link to a respected (CNN.COM, Symantec.com, microsoft.com, etc) that shows Tribalfusion is lsited as adware or a malicious program, Jordan has the ability to disallow adverts from them.

If blackviper.com says they're adware, Jordan would be less inclined to disallow the adverts.

TribalFusion's pop-ups are simple pop-up ads that are displayed on threads to users who are not logged in to an account. Tribal Fusion is certainly not one of "the nastiest adwares", it is one of the most respected online advertising companies in the world and serves the majority of all our ads here.
 
A bit off topic, but I rember getting some type of ad for a cell phone vidio thing, where it was launching a popup out of the banner ad. While the popup was there the banner was blank and when you clicked to close the popup the same ad appeared in the banner. I havent seen it lately. Did every one expierience that or was I just special?
 
I believe that was quite some time ago, if you experience any ads with audio or video elements please let me know.

I got these when I opened the Rumble Strip

And I got these as I was writing this reply.

More popups!

Note there are 2 advertisements each time, now is this me or the site? I've deleted as much spyware as I could look up and find, yet they persist. And also, for a while, I've noticed popups for some gaming website, it's grey and says "Get your fix" with a bunch of stupid smilies all over it.

Those pop-ups are definitely not coming from GTPlanet, especially not if you are posting a reply (which means you are logged in). I can't make it any more clear: if you are logged in and you get a pop-up, it DID NOT COME FROM GTPLANET.
