Has anybody had issues with the grip of tires?? I mean cars that are supposed to "grippy" around corners, they just slide dangerously. Sometimes i use a lot of downforce to counter this because +toe angles and camber dont work for some reason. I've been using RS tires and having this issue, mostly online. Am I crazy or anybody else having this issue?

Did you upgrade your rim size? If you inched up, your tires have been proven to be smaller in width thus making it more "drifty" in the corners, this is especially noticeable in the MR cars.

Gone are the days of taking any cars and Racing Softing it and making it driveable.

In my opinion though, GT5 had too many cars where Comfort or Sports tires were too slidey and unrealistic, whereas in GT6 Comfort or Sports were more of an accurate gauge giving you more grip, but sliding when you went bonkers.

yes i have. Never thought about it, gonna take them off tomorrow and give it a try. Thanks!!

Welcome to the new tire physics! Take some time to adjust to them.
I am trying to adjust to them. In fact after hours of engineering setups, i've come with very weird and nonsense setup. But they work!! So i guess i gotta move on

Tyre physics are gr8 with GT6. Unfortunately they change completely after you pit. That is obviously a severe bug.

Try it out with a wheel and in an online lobby before flaming ;) You will realize immediatly the difference. Best try it with a R8 race car. The difference is massive.

Keep Racin'

Kinda depends on the track. Some seems to have more grip than others, almost like the pavement temperature comes into play.

Well im not liking them at all. Not consistent at all, weight distribution can define life or death, only awd and 50/50 weight distribution are fast risk free when my favorite cars are MR. Im just not feeling it, getting bored actually at this pace

I was caught pretty off-guard by the tire physics in this game at first. I've got Lambo at the moment that's basically undrivable in anything other than a straight line. Only the slower cars and race cars seem to offer any sort of stability.
