Tire Question

Do I need to buy new tires occasionally.  I have the 5k sport tires on all my cars (I'm a beginner) Do they wear out.  Also whats up with the $500 tires at the car wash, what are they good for?

you do not need to replace tires at the tune up shop, you cannot buy the same ones you already have anyway.  And at the carwash those are rims not tires.  you can choose from like 150 sets of rims and use them on almost all of your cars.  The only cars you cannot change rims on are race cars.

Does it matter if I change my rims, does it lighten me or is it just cosmetic?

you know I never checked that.  I do not think that it does change the weight.  But some of them do make the cars look pretty sweet.  I will change rims on some of mine tonight and see if it changes the weight.

The wheels are strictly cosmetic. They offer no advantages or disadvantages.


I wasn't able to change wheels on my Acura RSX...
