Tire Temp Inconsistencies?

Hey Everyone!

Yesterday evening i downloaded one of them iOS apps (I think it was called Vision) that displays tire info, lap time, etc. I completed the Weekly Race at Spa while keeping an eye on the tire behavior. The game seemed to my untrained eye to do a decent job of representing what I'd expect. When my inputs were smooth, the tires stayed at an optimal temp. When I was pushing for a faster lap, my front tires were pretty warm as a result. Etc. Etc.

However, I switched over to the Power Pack and ran a practice session with a C6 Corvette. In the Power Pack practice session, the tires weren't fluctuating at all. When I exited pit, the tires were at an optimal temp (green) but no matter how hard I pushed, the tire would increase by a degree or two and immediately go back to the baseline temp from when I exited the pit lane.

I found that a bit weird, so I returned to the pits and my tires were swamped out. They were cold and I thought "great, now I can see what the warming process is like during an out lap" but I ran into the same issue. The tires would not keep temperature. Even if I did a burnout the tires would spike in temperature but immediately return to the cold (blue) state.

I'm pretty sure this is something that many of you have noticed before but does anyone have an explanation for why this is the case? I've been wanting tire temps to be reflected in the UI but with how unfinished/broken/inconsistent it is, I see why they haven't done it yet.

As someone who has largely enjoyed the Power Pack (while acknowledging it's shortcomings), I'd love for tire management to become a more integral part of the racing experience.
