Tire wear

I'm already at the iA races in career mode and I've yet to see any tire wear implemented I to the game in either career mode or arcade. Is tire wear unlockable at an even later stage or is it yet to be placed in the game via update?

I wish they added tire wear options in the arcade mode. I'd love to do some quick laps with it on.

Only after you unlock the S series since the races are considered to be "endurance races".
