I seem to be driving better than in GT6. I'm guessing the physics have a lot to do with it.

Overall I like it, but the UI and nav sucks bigtime. Finding things and changing settings is not intuitive at all. Maybe with a mouse and keyboard, but not with a controller.

Gentlemen this guy is awesome. It's amazing watching him drive.

Hmmm strange i found the FFB out of the Box amazing felt Real to me. The only thing thing I change is the master scale if i think its too weak. Everyone has its preferences but i think ffb is amazing. Also i am super fast in this game. A few things i accomplished.
World Record for GT3 cars on laguna seca.
Various LMP1 records. Second fastest GT3 around the Ring. Still top 20 in the seasonal with a stock car in the clio TT. I changed only Tyre Pressure. Because i suck at tuning. The tuning in this game is massive but more real it wint give you that few seconds advantage thaz GT 6 gives. It will give you only a few tenth and the rest is to suit your driving style which of course also makes you faster.
Also the gaps between drivers seems to be closer than GT6. But i do not need long to get to speed it almost happens instant.
Not like GT were you learn a track in this game you feel it so you dont need that much time to get to the limit i feel

We all had to turn the FFB up to 100.

One thing I hope to see in a future patch. The checkered flag waving. Other than. The learning curve is steep, but we're going climb it. :cool: This is a glimpse to what Gran Turismo 7 will be.

I dont think GT 7 will go this direction. Dont get me wrong i like the GT series. But its tailored for the pad and will always be. So physics wont be this good. Also the tuning factor and the number of cars in GT is way to big. So a lot of cars drive pretty much the same. It seems like logitech is working for ps4 support so we will se us maybe sooner than expected.
Are you using the Real Aids option?
 
You're probably right. Gran Turismo is for everyone. Project Cars is for the real racers.
I do miss the GT tracks and cars.
You know PD has an entire staff devoted to playing Project Cars. ;) Hmmm, 12 hours shifts.
Realism will have to be on PD's minds or lose a huge fan base.

Logitech. They will be back with the NEW G30 wheel. There's no money in supporting the G25 and G27.

So far WE haven't touched anything, but the wheel(s) FFB functionalities. Both T300 and T500 still have some uncontrollable behaviors. Patches are coming. So all the aids are on.

Right now we're playing/testing/tweaking the online racing options.
 
I like both, there's pros and cons on both PCars and GT, but there's no way we can compare both at the moment since PCars is running on PS4 and GT6 is running on PS3.

Right now I'm reading on the proper FOV view settings. For my 46 inch TV. I need to be at MAX 50 inches away. I've had it at 91 inches.
 
Im running no aids abs only. Love the game so far and cant wait for some patches for some bugs! The feel of the car is out of this world, 37 diff sliders just for tunning the wheel. Gt6 is childs play compared to pcars at this point. I was scared to move some settings but now its like beeing a mad scientist, a little tweek here and there and hold on! Ive created a monster! If your on gt6 you will be lost beyond control when you switch over, the learning curve is now! Every night we have had great leaps forward, we are close to the launch of race one. With 2 guys joining a day we will be fighting for starting spots i think. The crew that is forming should make for some tight tuff racing, dont get left behind in gt6 candyland...

Oh no, you need to be 3feet at a max, you will love being that close, if your to far away you wont have a reaction time. Just like the girl at your door, she had no time to react because well you had some stuff missing, haha

You can hear the suspension squeaking, the car bottoming out, and the sun through the trees.

ADDED: Several of the AI drivers have been told.
"Sorry, your slot has been filled by a human driver."

This ain't NO GT6
 
Man... I'm freaking bummed there is no GP+ Nordschleife layout in pCars! I wanted to run my own Nurburgring 24 hour... :(
 
Hopefully we can get that feature in a future PS4 update.
Being able to compare and analyze our driving would be a useful tool.

I noticed a moment or two when the car got unsettled.

Still awesome driving. What was the gap to him after it was over?

You should have it under time trial and then add ghost all track car combos have one leaderboard. Wont be as full as on the pc. Also the community events have one leaderboard for all plattforms at the wmd homepage
4 tenth or so. Yeah lap is far fom perfect. Can find 0.5 or so at least but pushing in this game is hard you can easily overdrive the car but keeping racepace I found way easier than in GT. And you need different paces or your tyres will melt or you run out of fuel. Its awesome
 
Of course they are they also have the same setup and restrictions they have in reallife much more narrow than in GT. The sls for example has longer gear to get the power better down. The mclaren is a few tenth faster in spa because he is turbocharged and spa is relative high and struggels on sealevel etc
They use the same bop than in the reallife gt3 class
 
One thing I like about the RUF. If TCS and stability is turned OFF.
I can feel the car getting loose and the wheel/TV gives me feedback.

It's amazing.
 
You actually can feel the same with tc on. If you read interviews with drivers in reallife the discripe the same phenomenon. You can also see it in reallife sometimes because it has the engine so far down on the axcel. What you disriped as unsettled car in my video is a typcial habbit of the McLaren when you loose front end grip in a corner you can just lift and get a bit of oversteer and Rotation as you reduce speed the front grips again bit because weight is more to the back it stays a bit longer unsettled than the front giving you more.Rotation.You should drive alll cars with the setting real the setups and bop are balanced that way. Its not like in gt were you loose Time and its impossible to spin a gt car needs abs for example because of weight and not enough stiffness for the power. Its also one of the most important setup feautures in modern gt cars. The formula cars on the other hand do not have bkth in reallife and the LMPs only have TC to get the hybrid Power down with their full bodywork snd relative high weight compared to an F1.
Every car in GT3 has its own habbits and its pprefference which one you like the most. Also settings dont change the cars character it always stays

I'm enjoying the RUF so much. I hate to try the other GT3 cars.

This Thursday night the guys want something fun. So.....

We're going to get crazy and relax with the Monterey Stock cars.

My FR list has jumped so much in recent days. Filling an online lobby will be no problem.

Sunday night we're racing 30 laps at Spa with the GT3 cars.
I'll probably finish at the back, but I don't care. Since I started these races. I've seen a great desire from everyone to excel in their driving skills. Even you admitted that the guys have improved from last year's race at Lemans.

Accept the challenge or accept last place. or
If you see the back end of my car(Viper Oreca), you did something wrong.
