Ok, there's been some discussion about the new 2.0 update and the tire wear settings.
So tonight, I'm hosting a testing schedule. Anyone who wants to attend can join in.
Keep in mind that your driving style and settings will be different than everyone else's.
So 10 laps or the final 20 laps is not a true indication how you will perform Thursday night.
Also don't expect the competition to showing their cards. I expect a lot of sandbagging.

I'm running the session to see if the 7X tire wear needs to be tweaked or left as is.

Ok, here's the run down for tonight's testing.
At 6:00 PM EST----Tire wear at 7X AI @ 80%---10 Laps

At 6:30 PM EST----Tire wear at 5X AI @ 80%---10 Laps

At 7:00 PM EST----Tire wear at 5X AI @ 70%---10 Laps

At 7:30 PM EST----Tire wear at 2X AI @ 80%---10 Laps

At 8:00 PM EST----........................................20 Laps

Ok, for now testing is postponed until 8:00 PM EST
5X is great since the guys who want to use a different compound tire can.

Definitely the tire wear selector is I believe fixed.
There's a huge difference between the old 7X and the new 2.0 update 7X

At 8:00 PM EST the 20 lap test will begin. 5X AI at 80% 20 Laps.

cos during the race the AI will pit-in every 5 laps...


now after the update, I notice a set of soft-slick can only last for 5 laps.


before the update, a set will last for 12-13 laps, and after the update, a set last for 5 laps @ 7X, 10 laps @ 3X

As for what Alex Is saying Is true!!
Since we were doing 20 Laps I started with:

A quick announcement concerning the July 9th race at Watkins Glen.

It will be moved to July 16th.

We have some more drivers interested in joining us.

Which means I'll need to reduce my FR list.

The rest of the schedule will remain as planned.​
