Ok after using the merc it ain't that bad just got no brakes. Can't see that being a good thing as the sun romantically sets in the horizon. Oz was telling me the races are at 8Est but I'm seeing 1300 start time, I could have heard wrong.

Race will start at 8pm est, the race time in game will start at 1400.
 
👍 The track will open for practice at 7:20 PM EST U.S. time. Qualifying will be 30 minutes later. 10 minutes.
The race start time will be 8:00 PM EST U.S. time.

The simulated race start time will be 14:00 on June 18th 2015.
It would be nice to use Sept 18th, 2015, but as most of you guys found out last night. The track temps were already falling fast. Cold track, cold tires, no traction.

So here we go with last minute details.

There are three slots left. One Mercedes SLS and two Ginettas. Hopefully in a future Project Cars update we may get the Corvette, the Viper, Nissan GT-R, Cadillac, Ferraris 458, or the others in the series.



Next.
Tomorrow at 7:20 PM EST I will open the track for 30 minutes of practicing and to get everyone invited.

At 7:50 PM EST the 10 minute of qualifying will be begin.
At 8:00 PMEST the race will be begin.

All the race details are on page one.

Cautions. This subject has come up several times. My thoughts are you guys are all adults by now so I'm going to let the game decide what is and what isn't a caution. If you do get involved in an incident. Respect the other driver(s), but don't stop in the path of the other drivers trying to get through the incident. For those not involved, use caution and slow down.

Damage is set to "Performance Impacting" If you bang up your car, hitting the reset button won't work.

Mechanical Failure is set to 'Yes' Take care of your car. I'm sure everyone's pit crew would rather watch the race then work during the race.

Race pace. Everyone will be on their own race plan. Concentrate on yours. Project Cars doesn't have a magic build in fuel reserve. No Gas, No Go. DQ.


Pre-race preparations.
Get comfortable.
Turn off and reset your Modems/Routers.
Have a recharge cable handy in case you forgot to charge your controller.
If you have multiple computers on your home network. Consider unplugging them.
If you have additional family members. Consider sending them far away.

Race communications.
The PS4 chat room is et for 8 players only and the in game chat won't work with the large amount of drivers we have. It's possible to divide us up into several groups or teams. We still have time to decide.

Overall goal
To have a blast and get a small taste of what the real world drivers do for us on weekends.


Race 1 of 10 begins tomorrow.

Ok, gents QUICK UPDATE.
Patch 4.0 is out right now.

Make sure you turn your PS4 on WELL before tomorrow night.
It's suppose to be 4G s in size. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

ADDED: The U.K gents are getting it now. Hopefully we're next.

1) Ok no patch for me this morning

2) i will have a chat room tonight but it will be private i think, this way i can help steve for his first event!! This way i can here him if he has any issues!!

3) i would assume we will all be in little groups for chat tonight so if i dont see or hear ya good luck guys!!

4) last thing, please be kind and give room to each other, this is a long race with damage on so you cant win in the first lap!! We will be battling for a while and be smart, if you have a guy pushing you turn after turn be wise give the spot a live to fight for the long haul(nothing worse than somebody missing a breaking point). Remember the fastest guy doesn't always win long races, so if your off the pace(like me, lol) dont give up(mexi!!) and keep pushing! If you cause a wreck try and give the spot back without creating a bigger wreck. Lets have fun and thanks tjger for putting together this bad 🤬 series!!!

If I see I have a faster driver behind me and keeps pushing me around It means that I am slower and I move over to let him pass...

I don't care if I lose the my spot... All I care I being able to finish the race!

Yes dont let him fool you, he is our video master!!!! He makes fantastic trailers for all our events, and each one will fire you up. Its makes you go practice so you dont drive like a pizza chip, :lol::lol::lol:. Then when its all over he will remind you of the race with a sweet recap video!!!! I will try and do one of my cheesie iphone recap videos from this event!!
 
Coincidence? The Blancpain Endurance Series ends this weekend at the Nurburgring, and the Tjger Enduro Series starts there.

I really hope I make it home in time for this. Work is bloody hell today. If I don't make it in time enjoy the race guys. I'll be kicking myself later.

Hopefully tonight we get the 4.0 patch, but at the same time. I hope it doesn't interfere with the race.

I definitely want the update. The included features .....:eek: :eek: :eek:

So everyone. Try to ensure your PS4 is the ONLY electronic device hooked to the net.

If your connection is slow think about not being in a chat room. The higher our bandwidths are the better we can absorb a background download.

If all else fails. The race can be postponed to maybe Saturday night or next Friday.

Let's hope for the Nurburgring last race magic to help us tonight. :drool:
 
So bummed I cant make the whole series. Good racing to you guys tonight. Welcome all the new guys. I gave up my McLaren since I can only make 3 or 4 races.
 
You'll join us again in the spring time. I'm sure more GT3 cars will be added so who knows.

I have 4.0 but not everyone does, so what happens if the two versions can't be in the same lobby?
 
Yeah, seems Sony North America has yet to release/approve the patch. Adam in the UK has the patch, but most of us on US and Canada are still left out. This close to race time... 4GB download + install time.... not looking to good. :boggled:
 
We'll press on and.....
If those that have it can do a few practice laps with those who don't have the update yet.
That would answer the question. Will it affect the race?
