X-Route no SRF, I never use it. It was a black screen launch. Pre 2.08 so i'am not sure on time now

I'm gonna call bs on that time. The best I could manage before AND after the patch is 9.022.. If you did get such a time, surely a video of your full throttle launch will prove otherwise.

lol my acr hardly gets 8.998 with a freakin timed launch, i have come to the point where i find it dumb to tune a car ill rarly use.

Lol same here runs a 9.00 8.999
 
There are 3 launches, full throttle from black screen (consistent), plain full throttle where you go full throttle at say 2 on the countdown and hope to catch at a better rpm than the black screen launch, then there's timed launch where you hit the throttle just as countdown hits 0 and hope to catch at a lower rpm, say 5000 well away from the limiter. Even this method can be done online in some cars if you know what your doing and have your controller set up properly.

Pre 2.08 My best full throttle from black screen was 9.026, best plain full throttle was 8.994 and best timed launch was 8.990, retro launch is another thing entirely and don't use it, I would have been near 8.880 if I could figure it out.

After 2.08 all I get is 9.004 with timed launch. But my ride height is still set the same and no changes were made to the tune

Yah I actually think 9.002 was timed. I looked at my tunes were I write them down it was 9.018 full throttle.

9.004 best I could get, I edited my previous post, no change to tune...it was heartbreaking :(. I suppose 2.08 affects different tunes a little differently.

Yea I guess so my acr ran 8.999 then I tried retuning it and completely messed it up now it only runs 9.030
 
Ouch, I hate when a tune gets messed up, by the way my acr times have dropped .012 - .014 across the board, my black screen launch dropped from 9.026 to 9.038.

Yea again I say this was the most pointless update gt5 has given us
 
Well it does has point. Have you noticed you had more top speed with more downforce? Which is not realistic or matches the description.
 
PD will eventually abandon gt5 after gt6 is out, maybe then we can stop worrying about these little physics tweaks that keep disrupting the drag community, but then most everyone else will abandon it too.

Yea but that game probably won't be available for a couple more years and will probably be a ps4 game and I'm not buying a ps4 just to play gt6

No I don't do top speed runs or 3k drags use to but I was so nooby back then lol

Yeah, your probably right. The only reason I bought the ps3 was for gt5...the Netflix was a little bonus. I probably will buy the ps4 just for gt6, My gt5 disc hasn't been ejected in over a year now :)

I'm yhinkong about buying xbox for forza 4. And probably other games. But did you have xbox with forza before?

True story :). Any other gaming I do is on PC. Modern warfare 3 looks amazing on PC running full 1080p with all graphics options maxed out, also keyboard and mouse is way easier for me.

Get one from a friend if they have one. And newegg had a deal on one this past summer. But I didn't get one because I ordered a gaming pc. So next week if I don't put as much time that's why. Got borderlands 2 for it. Lol. Also ill be back up and running in a couple hours. Had to re format it but got everything running. And I didn't lose my save. Well I had to use one that's 2 weeks old so not as bad as losing everything.

Actually no. Thought it would. Sony said it would but it didn't. I have to send it In for repairs which cost $100 and I can't do that this second because I just bought a new pc. So it will he a few weeks and I may have to restart. I do not know as of right now. So it will be a while.
