To my ears engine sounds are better in GT6

Totally agree about the ridiculous tyre squealing, as I mentioned in a post on my first day with GT6.

I do think the exhaust sounds in GT6 are better than in GT5 though, guess many will see (hear) things differently.

They might be wrong, but they do help to get that "seat of the pants" feeling through a computer. Letting you know they are about to lose all grip. I think the default force feedback in GT 6 is an improvement over GT 5 and also helps to let you know how well your tires are holding up.

I do believe there is room to remove some of the squealing though. Maybe too much too early.
 
I think they sound way to hollow personally. GT5's I liked.
