To open or not to open....

And this is my question posed.

Do any of you guys remeber that in the build up to GT4 they showed some cars specificly the "Toyota sera" with its doors open, well when you buy this car the shots of it in the game menus (while changing oil n such) it shows the car with its gul-wing door open, but you dont seem to be able to open the doors for the photo travle pics, like the ones shown in the build up to the game. Am i doing something wrong or can you just not do it?

please let me know one way or the other.

What I think is somewhat annoying is when I take my Mercedes 300 SL to the car wash they wash the darn thing with the doors open! Oil changes too!

Sadly i think pd in their infinite 'wisdom' have removed the open door feature, i kept re-entering the area to try and make it open but nothing, i gave up.
