Right, so finally my friend got his Racing Beat mufflers, good for him! He then put his Flowmasters on my car, Im unsure if they sound all that better for the small nuisances they cause, so Ill let GTP decide. (that includes a rattle when driving because it has to be touching the body to it doesn't touch the tank, and an odd cooking my bumper smell, finally actually cooking my bumper every now and then) Not to mention that I really doubt there are HP gains, considering it still has its 2 presilencers and a CAT on it.

OKay Completely stock

And thanks for the input.

Then with the Flowmasters

Then a small ride along vid...To show I get a rattle.(sorry for the od fapping noise unless thats just my speakers)

all I'm hearing in the ride along is the ripple back and forth between my left and right speakers caused by the mic on the camera.
I can hear tiny differences between the stock and the flows. a bit deeper, perhaps, but that's it. if it is actually melting something under there, definetly get it checked out and corrected.
at least you HAD stock. my 4Runner probably hasn't had a stock muffler since it rolled out of the factory. when the exhaust went the first time, we went and bought the stock "tin can" muffler for it, only to find out that the mounting points on the bottom of the body were missing, and even the previous owner had put a standard oval muffler in it.

Yeah thats what I thought...well about mic problem...
But that sucks about your 4runner exhaust...kinda funny though.

I say straight pipes and just use the cats and presilencers to keep it at least kinda quiet.

The flows just sound... Weird. But then I've never really liked them.

Well Im hoping to find in the future some bolt on pipes that connect to the stock headers, because to get my friends off was a BIATCH. And I have an ABS unit in the way that he did not.

Regarding the rattling, have you checked your hangers? Sometimes they stretch, which was the issue with my friend's G35 a while back.

Yes, that brings me to what I stated: (that includes a rattle when driving because it has to be touching the body to it doesn't touch the (fuel)tank, and an odd cooking my bumper smell, finally actually cooking my bumper every now and then)

So, the hangers are part of the problem AND solution.
