Since I'm bored, here's a brief report.
Race 1: I qualified 2nd with no practice (yippee!) and battled akmuq at the beginning before he went too hard and off the track. I attempted to escape and it all seemed great, until Furi said caution and I became a sitting duck. First CJ93 passed me, but then I couldn't hold my ground any better afterwards and had akmuq, neljack and Matty, all with better tires, coming past as well. Good thing I only lost 2 points to CJ who struggled with tires at the end too.
Race 2: I assumed a high position pretty quickly, but took rear suspension damage in the first lap. No caution came out, so I definitely didn't want to pit. Surprisingly, I managed to pass Kartman and DK for the lead, but it didn't last long, Neljack was on the way with better tire wear (and no damage). I couldn't challenge him as he ran away, but held off Matty's charge on the final lap to claim 2nd place.
Race 3: Start was unbelievable, I made it from 7th to 3rd in virtually no time (guess there's something good about the Mazda!!!). There was a good scramble with guys like Furi and CJ, but eventually CJ was leading with me and akmuq chasing not far behind. He went off in the first corner on lap 7 (I think) but akmuq passed me on the same lap, only to be overtaken again on the next one, when he again went too hard and spun onto the grass. The rest of the race was clean sailing as I increased my distance from CJ, and he held off the BMW's of Neljack, Matty and Kartman long enough to allow me a safe gap at victory lane. Woo!!!
