That other thread is getting way too big and its hard to find everyones stats in there. So with that said I decided to make this thread so everyone can keep track of their stats and progress. 👍

THIS WILL EASILY BE A 100+ HOUR GAME!!!
The muscle car event had 11 races just to get 1 cup!!!! Going to be a very very long rewarding game. I was also happy to see that when you play pro career mode you can purchase better tires, cam, suspension, roll bar, wheels and other items to help you survive the race. To help save time I skip the practice laps and the qualification laps. Then I set the game to normal with all the simulation stuff on and I start at the back of all the cars. After that I set it to 2 laps. Makes for some very very interresting battles to get into first place within 2 laps when your at the very back of 20 cars. I love this game!!! Here are my stats so far after about 4-5 hours of game play.

CAMAROBOY69 STATS 3/14/06
Total time playing game so far. Approx 20 hours.
-40% Thru entire game.
-39% World Tour
-18/177 cups in Pro carreer mode
-38% Classics in Pro carreer mode
-0% gt
-100% Oval in Pro carreer mode
-0%Touring car
-45% off road
-13% open wheel
-100%TMS
-0% Honda
To get ALL the cups you need to do these:
1. Pro career (normal)
2. Pro career (hard)
3. Fastest lap on all tracks
As I said in another reply, this game reminds me a lot of R-Racing Evolution. And thats a good thing.

25% through entire game or something.

20% through pro career
must be around 27 cups
About 80% through GT
90% through oval
90% through open wheel
50% through off road..................These are all just rough estimates, cant be far off.

I use 90-95% difficulty, 5-10 laps, all pro sim on, all rules on, 900 degree DFP with high FFB.

I had a chance to play for another hour last night. Time for a little update. I will also update these stats in my first post. I love how there is soo much variety in this game. I go from monster trucks to sprint cars then to rally and F1 cars all within an hour. Noother game even comes close to letting you do all of this. :dopey:

-15% Thru entire game.
-23% World Tour
-8/177 cups in Pro carreer mode
-23% Classics in Pro carreer mode
-100% Oval in Pro carreer mode

El Gigante
I think oval is the easiest pro career series.
Yes it was the easiest so far. Well besides the F1 race events or whatever they were. You bump 1 tire the wrong way and the race is over. I actually flipped my car over last night.

I've just tried thoes Indy cars, they don't half take some getting used to. I think I'll have to lower the difficulty a little for my second attempt at beating the Indy car championship.

THats exactly what I did. I lowered the difficulty and made it 3 laps instead of 2. That way I could safely get thru all 20 cars without a major crash. This game truly lets you set the game up exactly where you are comfortable. Some of the other events I jacked up the difficulty but for this one it was easier to lower it to around 65% difficulty. :) I mean lets face it. Its going to be a very long game so a little relief now and then doesnt make me feel bad at all. :sly:

Now that is a surprise, I strongly recomend you give this one a go, it doesn't take that long as its just you on the track (you race against the other driver's times).

The track layouts are excellent as are the cars you get to use.

One of the events in the world tour that I did this weekend was soooo hard. The first race was in the rain and the 2nd event was on dirt. I could not believe how frustrated I got on the dirt event!! I believe it was some 1930's car. It was the first time I was extremely mad at this game. I will have to clearify exactly what event it was but I had a hard time with the 2nd race. Took me many attempts. Mabey I was just tired or something but I sure was frustrated. I kept getting 2nd or 3rd place no matter what I tried.:grumpy:

Dont worry I am not avoiding this event. I am just selecting the shortest ones with the least amount of tracks right now since I only have an hour once in a while to play. 👍

Then this one is perfect for you, its based around running (if I recall correctly) hotlaps in 4 different cars.

I seem to remember it only taking about an hour or so.

I played a little more of the World tour this weekend and now I am somewhere around 34%. Somewhere around 30% thru the game. Played for about another 3 hours. I will update my first post when I get official stats late tonight. I also beat one of the monster truck races on the Hard difficulty so that gave me another cup. The race with the boost F1 looking cars was quite fun. You get 8 shots of this boost and if you shift gears that shot is wasted. Pretty cool. Similar to nitros but has to be timed just right. 👍

It's like nitrous because it is nitrous, it's a real car and a real race series too and the fact it has to be timed right is a lot more realistic than it is in GT4 and NFS. IRL each race the drivers are given a set number of shots of nitrous.

Your right that does make it even more cool. 👍 Did I mention how much I love this game. :sly:

Not to sidetrack the whole thread, Camaroboy, but is it worth buying for PS3 when it comes out? I won't ever own an Xbox360, because it's not in my interests, but I'm curious to know if the game is uber fun. I'd like to just get people's opinions.

In all honesty, I would say you have to be an open minded, flexible car racing fenatic to really appreciate this game. If your someone that complains about little picky stuff in a game then no you wont like it. It doesnt have the best graphics and there are other minor problems but I absolutely love it!! The large variety of races ranging from go-carts to monster trucks to F1 cars then to rally cars. Not to mention 21 vehicles on the track!!! 12 online for xbox and 8 for ps2. I dont even know if it will play on the ps3.
By the time the PS3 comes out this game will probably be old news anyway.
Like I always say. Rent before you buy. I wouldnt wait until the PS3 comes out because that could be a while.

Well, my plans, at this time, will be for a racing cockpit on the PS3 platform. It'll cost me quite the pretty penny, but I consider it a valuable expense for my lifestyle. I am quite addicted to Enthusia right now, for the simple reason that the physics are so life-like. I've been truly impressed, literally blown away, by it. So, if it's a good game at the core (meaning true to life), then yeah I'll consider it well worth the purchase. Shiny games (pretty graphics, terrible physics), are what I'm shying away from. Of course, the occasional "original" title will still intrique me (like Kaido Battle or Tokyo Extreme Racer), but my true desires lie in flawless physics. Can't go wrong with a working clutch and e-brake in Enthusia.

I also liked Enthusia a lot. I ddint get to play it much but I truly enjoyed it. Amazing real life feeling physics.
With that reply I think you would be very happy with Toca 3. In a lot of ways it reminds me of R-Racing evolution. A lot of guys hated that game but if you spent time adjusting your cars it realy really was an enjoyable game. Just like toca 3 it had something like a world mode which was only about 5% of the game. Then it had the career mode which took easily 80 hours to beat. Toca 3 is obviously way better than R-racing evo but R was still a great game if you could adjust cars. My point is you sound open minded and dont mind setting up games that have the realistic feel to them. Toca 3 definetly has that. You watch your suspension move all over like crazy and the feel of the cars is quite real. By the time the PS3 comes out you will be able to get Toca 3 for very very cheap.

That is, the feel of the cars is great, in pro sim mode. The game has a few selections in the options that will affect the entire game that cover damage, gravel traps and handling. Sim mode is a semi-real mode where the cars grip and corner faster than real, take more damage, or don't slow as much over gravel traps. Pro-sim is the real sim mode, the damage is more serious, the gravel traps really slow you down and the handling is much better. Really it should have been called arcade or sim mode not sim andpro sim, but hey, the end result is the same.

One of my favorite parts of this game in pro-career mode is the ability to tune the AI difficulty. If your in a race and its just too brutal to handle you can actually tune the difficulty of the AI. How awesome is that!! You can make it as difficult or as easy as you want. 👍 And for a game thats as long as this one, that is a wonderful feature. I wish every game had this!

I had a chance to put in a good solid 4-5 hours into this game this weekend. I finally got to drive the go karts and I finished the TMS event 100%. Those were a lot of fun. I did a few other events too in the world tour so now I am about 40% thru the game, 39% thru world tour. I still only have 18/177 medals so there is still a long way to go. :dunce:
Some of the medals require 10-12 races just for one medal.

'

ime somewhere in the 30-35%, have'nt been playing it much as i get v.little ps2 time but i did tackle World Tour last time & just ran through eight tiers as pro career had primed me.

That Rick is a card though, don't know which is worse a podium & a berating :scared: or winning for ricardo's affection :ill::crazy:
