Use the search function to have a look, ving - there's been plenty of threads on this game. Probably this year's most anticipated release!

No problem, ving - I wasn't taking a shot or anything, just pointing you towards a lot of stuff that we've put up that'll give you some good info on game.

And, f1king, you'd be wrong - 22 October is the release date, and it's called 'Pro Race Driver' in the US.

we (ozzies) get it in august (23rd)........

hang on! thats like 2 days away!!!

does this mean i am going to shelve gt3 at 5% finished????

I think it's actually been put back to August 31 - at least that's what EB is telling me - and if the previous TOCA instalments are anything to go by, I suspect your copy of GT3 may go untouched for a while.

Have you played any of the TOCA touring car games before.

Oh yeah - it's actually titled 'V8 Supercars' in Australia.

yup, just found that out :p

yeah i'v played the toca games.... wicked :D

hope you can tune the cars heaps too.

OH I just read a review and they saw it rocks  So I guess as usual, i'll rent first (can't trust these reviews usually):D

Well, they were heading more in that direction with TOCA World Touring Cars, so I imagine we'd see some improvements in that area over the old game.

Yea I'll probably Hire before I buy :2cents:

It'll be nice to race the Touring Cars :gcar: with car Damage but will it compare to :gt:?

May I direct you to post #7, where your fellow 'stralian Vat_man cleared that up?

And welcome to GTPlanet, by the way. There's alot of information to be found here.

Another great racing game to add to my "to buy" list. It'll be great to drive with cars that can actually be damaged! No wallbanging in this game...

I played a demo of it on Saturday and it's amaizing, so I ordered it from Gameplay, and the Postman actually tried to deliver it today, but it wouldn't fit through the letter box   . So, I'm off to the post sorting office at 7:30am before I drive to work to pick it up ready for a session with it when I get home.

Trouble with all these racing games is I'm now driving my company car like a bloddy race car! The windy lanes on the way to work are just far too appealing! 😈 :D

Oh, and in the UK, it is actually released tommorow (23rd August), so god knows how Gameplay were able to dispatch it that early!

Ha! I have a similar thing here - I've been playing Grand Prix Legends with my GT3 Logitech wheel on the PC, and I have the steering set VERY heavy so I turn in precisely and not too quickly - it's actually heavier than the steering on my Subaru road car, which always feels really light after I've been playing GPL for a while.

mustang & kyle, bite me :p

I too find that these darn driving games adversly effect my driving to and from work along the freeway (M5) :D

just waiting for the speeding ticket :(

The Release date here was last quoted for me at 23rd which is today!!! I'm going up to Miranda tommorow before my selective school test so i'll check it out:cool:
