Yeah but Furi my lap in the VW was 2 seconds quicker then yours. I'll do a couple of laps in it tomorrow around Cape Ring and see how it does, ideally it would be slower.:)

I haven't changed my VW since I originally specced it, so unless you've changed it's spec around then yes it's 100% spec.


Edit: it seems regs havw changed since then, as IIRC my VW was only 1230 kg, so you can disregard my time.

Louise Goodman: Hi Tom, it's great to chat to you once again, are you excited about the start of Season 4.2?

Tom Brooks: Hi Louise, it's been a while! Season 4.2 looks to be one of the closest in TOCA's history, I can't wait until we kick things off at the Cape Ring South Circuit.

LG: So after many different line-up changes, you're back with Furi once again?

TB: Very much so, I have a contract with FBR Engineering until the end of Season 5, so after that who knows what will happen but I am very much focused on staying with FBR in the long-term.

LG: How's the Scirocco?

TB: It's fantastic, after a test today with some of the other drivers at High Speed Ring I found the true pace in the Volkswagen, by outpacing Furinkazen by nearly 0.3 secs, in the same car!

LG: What are you and Furinkazen focusing on for the upcoming season?

TB: I think that myself and Furi will be very much focused on developing the car for 4.2 and scoring podiums and possibly even race wins, we've shown in pre-season testing that we have the pace. Now's the time to prove it!

LG: We know that you love the underdogs in the BTCC, who do you think may possibly be a dark-horse in TOCA?

TB: Well with limited testing from other drivers, it's difficult to say but I think that Chris in the Mini may spring a few surprises, as well as the Volvo's of Polestar Racing, also Strawman, hotdog and gokartman are looking strong.

LG: Intentions for the future?

TB: As I said, I'm very much focused on now, plans for the future though? We'll see.

LG: Thank you for your time Tom, good luck!

i would say anyone is a rival in this! all it needs is someone to lock up their brakes into turn 1 and the championship could be turned on its head!

S3 BMW had on-board turbo. The G35 is quick by being an NA RWD. If I can manage power and weight for 4WD I have a pretty competitive package I reckon.

I hear you, thats why 4WD is not coming until I am 100% happy with it. And those are a copy / paste from S3, before Lotus became Dax.
