Must. Resist. Saying something. Ill be banned for. <3

Also, Ill be a BMW for TOCA legends if TOCA actually goes a head :p

Yeah... not looking good. If no-one can host a room with low quality without black screens...

Tom

Carb usually faultless - Black screen.

Me usually faultless - DC after DC.

I am in favour of going to Tom, however, I dont think it'll cure it. I really do fear De Ja Vu from Toca S4.1 :(

Struggling to see why this series is struggling so much.

Nationwide manages about fine with 15 drivers and mics on my decent connection and without mics, it appears we cope very well.

Hmm, did you turn off visual and mechanical damage?

Visual damage was on.... and the problems where for Trucks tonight. Just worried it won;t affect TOCA as well..

My connection has been strong... :D

Nice post Furi @ #1090

For those who missed it earlier:

TOCA Season 4.2

Official Drivers / Teams Preview

JPS (TEAM FBR) – Volkswagen
Furinkazen / tombrooks97

Furinkazen. Mr TOCA himself, Furi had a difficult start to Season 3 but managed to take a win and a 3rd at Laguna Seca. Having moved on from Volvo to Volkswagen Furi’s team are taking a chance with an unproven car, but it may just pay off.

On faster tracks for sure the VW appears near the top of the field, and with the spectacular Tom “Kamui” Brooks in the second car, the defending teams champions have a great chance at securing even more glory this time around. Tom had signed a two-season deal with the team just as we went to press.

VenoMMotorsports – Mazda
GTP_DaxCobra / neljack

On paper arguably one of the most potent team outfits – VenoMMotorsports are run with DaxCobra at the wheel, who despite only doing half a season took 4 wins. The other driver is neljack, who was runner-up in Overall and Independents last season. With a team-mate now to work with surely there is a very real chance of a title for him.

VMM’s car the Mazda may be the only weak point. Whilst a stable and fast overall package, VMM have done or little or no testing, which may prove to be their greatest hurdle this season...

PoleStar Racing – Volvo
FlyingFox_85 / mattymc1996

Last season the Volvo was very fast and won the constructors. The new aero and ABS restrictions appear to have hurt it in testing, but PoleStar are up for the challenge of bringing it back up to speed. Team boss Fox has been hard at work at trying to unlock the cars potential, even sourcing set-up data from Furi who ran the cars last season.

Matty lines up in the 2nd car, but by no means as a number two driver. Exceptionally quick on his day, he will be one to watch as the season goes on, but only if the cars potential can be fully unlocked.

Super Aguri – Honda
GTP_akmuq / Strawman_Andy

Controversy reigned as amidst a flurry of rumours and reported problems at JPS Akmuq left to set up Super Aguri with the Honda team. This season regulation have allowed Honda to shed nearly 100kg of the car, and it has shown as the car has flown during testing, regularly landing itself near the top of the timesheets.

Strawman_Andy is in the 2nd car, and is one to watch, a very fast driver, with a fiery temperament and natural aggression and will to win that will make this season very interesting. If Honda can win this season, surely this is their chance.

TC Engineering – Infiniti
gokartman78 / The0one1 / nitrorocks

A small and relatively new outfit, gokartman steps up to the touring car scene with the RWD G35, a stable package that has been extensively revised since Season 3. Gokartman has not embarrassed himself either with a competitive pace during testing.

The second car will be shared by The0one1 and nitrorocks. The0one1 is part of the TC Engineering team but lack of budget has hampered testing. When possible, GT racer nitrorocks will fill the seat.

Sumo098 – Volkswagen
Sumo098 destroyed the field last season – 11 wins and 22 podiums from 24 starts meant he swept to both the TOCA Overall and Independents title. This season he has bought a Volkswagen at last-minute, and although time is not on his side – it didn’t stop him last time from taking an undriven BMW to the title.

Chrisjohnson93 – Mini
Mini enter TOCA with a highly upgraded Countryman that TOCA allowed in as a trial to see how lower-spec production cars will compete. The Mini lacks power but on twisty courses should excel. Chris whilst not the fastest is consistent and patient and will drag consistent results and maybe the odd shock result out the car.

Drifking18594 – Honda
The ever-controversial, DK failed to win a 3rd TOCA title last season in a season that by his standards was a disappointment. A new-spec Honda is his car for this season, and DK will work tirelessly for sure. Expect him to be on the podium sooner than later.

Hotdog2201 – Volkswagen
Hotdog2201 showed pace in testing in the VW. Budget issues have seen a lack of testing since which may harm him, but with a rumoured technical partnership with JPS, expect him to claw his way through the grid as the season goes on.

Carracerctp – Ford
Ford’s only car this season is driven by rapid American carracer. Whilst limited testing may briefly stall his progress, the Ford is a stable fast package with potential for very strong race showings at all types of track.

Eiskalter-Mick – Honda
A second independent Honda for this Scottish debutant, not much known other than he does intend on competing in a number of races this season.

ATIN322 – Infiniti
A new driver, ATIN will cut his touring car teeth with the G35. And despite having had minimum testing, results were promising – at High Speed Ring he was right on the pace of the midfield.

Yes thats the one 👍

i would go with the last test on tuesday, then fun races/launch night on friday

Right, that's sorted. Tuesday final test Cape, Friday launch bash in the Legends cars.

Thoroughly looking forward to Season 4.2 now. Can we have 3 car teams in Season 5? :D

How so? For the constructors do what Honda did in MotoGP for 2011 whereby only the first and last placed car for that team scores points for the constructors. And not the hairdressers car! :scared:
