17 entries though... WOW. Never expected this. And a lot of teams as well... Sumo is lone independent

Proves my point about hogging a spot Furi with my random participation:tup: Will keep an eye on things and maybe drop in for the odd race if its quiet i doubt it will be however.
Welldone and goodluck.:)

Does anyone else have no sounds in GT5 during this apparent maintenance period?

Vox Racing Driver tombrooks97 has been catching up with Steve Rider for an interview about 2012's TOCA Season 4.

Steve Rider: Hi Tom, great to see you again.

Tom Brooks: Hi Steve, Yeah it's great to be back in TOCA.

SR: So moving from DB Motorsports to the newly founded Vox Racing, a tricky decision?

TB: Indeed, Dan is a fantastic driver and I would like to thank him and DBM (Now GWR) for giving me the opportunity in such a fantastic team for a drive in Season 3. However my lack of sponsorship ruled me out for most of the season. But after the Official Team Launch yesterday and taking the cars for a shake-down around Spa-Francorchamps, everything seemed positive and I am really looking forward to Season 4.

SR: So how does the Volvo compare with the BMW?

TB: Well it's very different, I prefer a RWD car as I like to be able to feel and control the power to my own preference, however with these new FWD Only Regulations it will certainly take some getting used to.

SR: Are you hoping to be in the Championship hunt for 2012?

TB: I hope so, with a team as strong and well-funded as Vox Racing we should be up the sharp end of the grid and with Tom as a team-mate, podiums and wins are definitely a possibility.

SR: Do you have enough sponsorship to make it through the season?

TB: Yes, Vox Racing are well funded and my personal sponsorship is now only a bonus to the team. There will be no risk of me dropping out or not turning up to race meetings mid-season as was the case in Season 3. I may miss a few races due to personal commitments or illness but other than that I aim to be racing for the full season.

SR: What's it like to have Tom as a team-mate?

TB: Tom's a great guy, I've raced with him in other categories and there's no denying he's fast. We have a good relationship and I hope for it to continue in the future. I am honoured to be alongside him at Vox Racing.

SR: Tom, it's been great to chat, I hope we can catch up soon.

TB: I look forward to it. Thanks, Steve.

I see suspension set up is allowed, best we get cracking....

@ Carbon - please dont worry about lag from us, don't think we have had lag for ages....oh....and we will be super clean, that's our style.

Steve Rider: Hi Jake, great to see you again.

Jake Ringwood: Can we get this over with?

SR: So moving from independant to the newly founded VenoMMotorsport, a tricky decision?

JR: Well, neljack begged me to join his team, so I had no choice.

SR: So how does the Atenza compare with the BMW?

JR: What do you think? The BMW was much better but the Atenza will have to do.

SR: Are you hoping to be in the Championship hunt for 2012?

JR: Hunting implies it will be a challenge.

SR: Do you have enough sponsorship to make it through the season?

JR: I'm a millionaire. If we get short on funds, I just reach into my pants and find some loose $1000000 notes.

SR: What's it like to have Alex as a team-mate?

JR: Pretty annoying to be honest. He keeps asking me "How are you so fast?" and "What line do I take through here?" Might just do like Red Bull at Turkey in 2010 each race.

SR: Tom, it's been great to chat, I hope we can catch up soon.

JR: You wish.

Neljack, I think you might be eating your words about the best interview.

Yay teh soundz are back in GT5!

Umm, anyway... I guess it's obvious, but I hope LKW also has his lag sorted, I don't even want to remember that dreaded Suzuka race anymore.

You do realize you're kind of taking the fun away from the others if you win everything by 10+ seconds? I wouldn't consider that interesting at all if I led the way in all the races.
