Welcome to a new racing league for the ToCA series in what we hope will be a multi-season event.​

RACE PROCEDURE

Race day will be Sundays and start mid to late January.

The race is to be held in my own private lounge so make sure “FlyingFox_85” is on your friends list.

The lounge opens at 7.15pm GMT.

Qualification is as follows:

Qualification will start at 7:30 and last for 15 minutes then it’s an automatic Green Flag

Each race will be approximately 30 minutes long. The second race will be a reverse grid event.

Points System
1st – 25 points
2nd – 20 points
3rd – 17 points
4th – 14 points
5th – 12 points
6th – 11 points
7th – 10 points
8th – 9 points
9th – 8 points
10th – 7 points
10th – 6 points
11th – 5 points
12th – 4 points
14th – 3 points
15th – 2 point
16th – 1 point


RACE CRAFT

Unlike the original ToCA series, this series is a minimal contact event.

Any incidents will be reviewed by me and selected others as I will have all replays saved.

Warnings and Points Deductions will be handed out if necessary

Excessive corner cutting is prohibited.

Foul language and / or other negative conduct in the lobby will result in warnings, point’s deductions and bans.
This also includes conduct in the forum.

THE CARS

Once you have chosen a car you are locked into that car for the rest of the season. Prior to the season start please make sure you have decided your car, teammate, or if you’re running as an independent and passed the information on to Furi or myself.

Each team MUST choose a different car and ALL teams must be filled.

Independents may choose any car they wish.

Maximum 6 Teams
Maximum 4 Independents
+ 6 Reserves

Teams can paint their car any colour they choose, wheels CANNOT be painted black. Teams have to run the same rim design, but are allowed different colour rims.

Independents can choose any colour car but wheels MUST be Black

CAR SPECIFICATIONS

Tuning Is Prohibited

Cars are divided into 3 groups:
Group A: 545PP
Group B: 540PP
Group C: 535PP

If a car is seen to be winning excessively then it will be moved down a category. Vice versa if the car seems to be at the back of the field.

Tyres are Racing Medium, no other tyre is permitted

You can only change Oil, Brake Bias, Paint and Wheels

Slipstream: Weak
Tyre/Fuel Depletion: Normal
Damage: Light

Nurburgring Nordschleife - Jan 20th
6 Laps

Spa-Francorchamps - Jan 27th
12 Laps

Circuit de la Sarthe '09 - Feb 3rd

Sign-ups will be in two parts:

Part 1: Invitational: Anyone who has participated in ToCA Seasons 4.2, 5, 6 or signed up to Season 7.
Priority will be given to those who have been in more seasons.

Deadline for Part 1 will be Sunday 30th December at 10am.

Part 2: Open to all. (Unless all spots have been filled from Part 1).

Shame the time doesn't work for me, or a MarkIV Motorsports Ford GT would have (possibly) been on the grid. :(

EDIT:

1. You say Racing Mediums are used but later say, the room is set to allow Racing Hards.
2. You and Furi have different rim designs. :p

Hmmm looks very familiar depending on my situation at the time and driver line up I may sign up for this Nissan pulls my chain straight off the bat.:drool:

Can i ask who done the testing?:sly: In other words is it worth checking for ourselves im lazy you see.;)

Tyre choice could do with confirming mediums or hards both are mentioned?:confused:

I have done ALL the testing. Yes I'm slow but consistant LOL.

All testing specs are available on request.

Since these are faster cars and actually fun to drive I think I might join this. GTR will likely be my choice.

How are the cars being brought down to the class limits in PPs? Power Limiter? Ballast? Both?
