The Mclaren MP4 has now replaced the Mercedes SLS and hainuinimic has been joined by R35-SKYL1N3 within Team RPK

The Corvette team has also seen an overhaul too. Gone are Chqr (reserve)and PastorMadness (shown no further interest), and in comes hennessey_86 with the other driver TBA. The team has also been renamed Team FPM.

The poll for what type of race we have is tied. Therefore I will make a decision by Sunday on what format the race will take.

A quick question, just deciding on my car, if I pick the Ferrari: Group B: 540PP I have to detune the engine to match the 540pp right? ill bebuying a new one and breaking it in and then limiting the engine power.

Also, no mods at all? adjustable suspension?

Am off work tonight so planning on a few practice laps ready for 1st race.
 
Fox, I don't know if you've thought about it, but you live kinda close to Furi. Maybe you could arrange a meeting with the geek. :)

That's all right, no mods, just reach the pp by detuning the engine :)
 
Excuse my ignorance but apart from a PP limit, how can mods be detected? I never host rooms so have no experience of this. I guess the room option for no tuning helps, but what if someone already has a component installed such as a double clutch etc?

The room is set with "Tuning Prohibited". You cannot cheat. Only power limiter can be used.

But, from what I see, there's only 1 spot open, and that's in the Corvette.

so you cant buy any mod parts at all? thats a good idea..

I think you can buy them, but you need to uninstall them before entering the track or it won't let you. I don't think the parts are automatically removed when you try to enter track.

To avoid hassles with the regulation checks, I wouldn't install them to begin with though.

I had thought about that but not sure how Furi wood feel about meeting a bloke that is old enough to be his dad !

@JBF1MSC Yes only one Corvette seat now remains.

Also, putting other parts on when there is a PP limit will only slow you down because you lose PP to torque, which means you have less power. And in this game power>torque :)

After further careful consideration I have decided to replace Autumn Ring with Tokyo 246.

It’s still a technical track but has a wider racing line than AR.
