How should pre-qualifying be for TOCA7?

  • Keep the TOCA6 Quali Race format, it's fine.

4WD gives terrible front tyre wear due to understeer usually.

Yes, 4WD are really prone to bad tyre wear so Furi fails again.

Audi R8 S3 and S4 must be exceptions to that rule then.:sly:
 
Some good tests tonight. Infiniti very strong off the start line.
 
R8 gave me a fair few wins on the trot in BST :p. But yeah back then tyre wear was useless and it all came down to how little you wheelspinned, airgo RS's lasted longer than RHs... :irked:. Now it actualy wears realistically based on drivetrain factors etc so now 4wds generally use much more tyres.

Btw thanks Furi now I have 8 cars to test next season making my test sessions just for one track around 3 hours long :sick:.
 
i'll have to test the cars to see which one that i will use
 
Audi has a bit of built in "give" so it may get a weight break if people think its not quick enough. Full specs will follow tomorrow / monday but as I said tonight:

Suzuki is 1000kg and needs ballast
Mini and VW are below 305hp
Audi has potential for a performance break.

my testing will be done over the Christmas/New Year period while the is no competitive racing on
