Two great things in one day I guess. Today I finally got my learners permit! It is about time as well. I turned 15 back in March and here I am finally getting my permit in August. After getting it I realized today was my one year anniversery here at GTPlanet. Two good things happening in one day. Not bad. So feel free to give me a congrats! :D

(That permit test was hard, at least to me. :()

Congratulations!

Don't worry about the permit test...it almost kicked my ass when I took it, too. My biggest problem was that I second-guessed a few answers I shouldn't have. :irked:

Congrats man. :)

I passed my Learners when i was 17 or 18, and passed my Restricted this year in April. :)

I'm gonna be an old man when I finally get my license.:p:p In New Jersey you can't get a permit until 17 and your license until 18. Unlike South Carolina, you can get your permit at 15 and your license at 16. Does living in NJ suck or what?;)

Anyway, congratulations ViperConcept!:)

wah, huh?

oh wait, you live in georgia, thats a good 500-600 miles from me. I dont have to worry about my life every time i drive now:D:D

I didnt get my learners until a month before my 18th birthday. (you can thank spain and the navy for that.)

Although i could have gotten my licence on my 18th birthday (and skipped that whole 1 year thing, because it is void after 18) I didnt.

Call it laziness, or whatever, i didnt get it until 6 months after my 18th birthday.

At least i didnt have to play for gas.

I am glad I do not live in a state where I have to wait to long. I am glad I got it. I drove my moms SUV home from the place I got my license. She was nice about it. So my first real driving experiance was driving on the interstate, in Atlanta. It was only like 3pm so rush hour was not a factor, although Atlanta streets are always packed. It was scary but fun at the same time. I wanted to pump up some Rock music but poor ol' mom thought it might destract me too much. :)

Heheh, I always have the radio on. unless i'm driving my truck. cause its a manual and i has no tach (who's bright ****ing idea was that?).

So i have to drive with out it, cause i need to hear the engine.

That and i have given up on 1st gear in that truck. too much power to the wheels and it will spin the tires. So i start in in second, works fine

PPL are afraid of me already because of my driving skills.

If I get my permit, Custom plate (RUNUDWN), and

The mounted machine gun replicas that will wrk! I just gotta put a device on it that makes it look inactive. Found one on Ebay for a bout $500 each!

Oh then Any person that ever pissed me off will be ran down or scared to death.

If I get sent to prison I will want to go to the Vegas Correctional Facility. They got a Program that teaches inmates, only certain ones, to fix, restore, and build cars. They get paid a state minimum. And I will beg to have my sentence made longer! Oh they get a Private cell too. So no ass raping is held. Its gonna be great! So by the time I get out I can have my license back, Hopefully, Have money, and Get a job right on the same day.

What do you think? Pretty Stupid huh? Well its better than the Life I got now!

I saw it on a TV Program, umm, Dream Car Garage or sumthing.

Sir, I am a 15 year old child who just began driving today. Do you really think any of this makes me feel more secure about driving? :nervous:

I am 15 too, I get my permit oct. 3rd

I get lots of practice when my parents are outta town or when I go out to the drag strip, its actualy a 747plane lane.

They think the odometer is at 100,447 its a role over. I use this drill to adjust the Odometer. they never know what I do when they are gone except play games and attempt to throw a party.

Congrats, VC. Call MistaX from your car!

No, thats ok. Speaking to him while sitting still is hard enough. Could you imagine me trying to talk to him doing 75 on the interstate? :nervous:

You live in Atlanta and you do seventy-five?

I don't think anyone around here has done seventy-five on the interstate since the early '80's.

M5Power, I am 15, today was my first day actually driving. I refuse to go any faster than 75. :)

Thank you Goosemandu, I wish I would have gotten mine the day I turned 15. It has been over 4 months now since my birthday. This means, come March 21, 2003 I will be 16. I will want a job by then. I will not be able to drive myself to work because I will have to wait until the day I got my permit which is Aug 10th. So it looks like next summer my mom will be driving me around to work. :(

Well, I meant that we're all always stuck going like six MPH, but there are those who do ninety, also. Usually in the express lane. That is, until they rear-end a stalled Metro.

I turned 15 last October, and finally got my permite in June...too bad you have to have the permit for at least 6 months(182 days), that puts me at getting my license late december...the Permit test here in MO is hard as hell, cause they changed the age from 15 and a half to 15, and there's all these technical questions like "How far behind someone is the minimum distance to have your brights on?" and crap like that...passed it on the 4th time, but that's fine cause I didn't study...I'm a good driver too, far better then my bro was when he got his permit. My only problem is slowing down for a turn...the 323 doesn't need to slow down, so here I am carving corners in it, but to me it doesn't feel like it's fast for it, no tire squeeling, just turns like a go cart. I've already honked people, 1 time this twit opened his door at the stop light, and he was looking at something, and the light turned green, and I was already pissed cause my mom came late to summer school, so I honked and proceeded to tail gate him when he finally got going. The other time was this guy trying to cut me off cause his lane ended, and he started coming over so I layed on the horn and floored it past him to get out of his way. No highway driving yet though, I think that I'd get pulled over for speeding...

Ohh and congrates on 1 year here!

Highway driving is the best, especially when you pin the needle on cars that have no accleration at high ends, 3.8L Mustang's don't like to pick up after 80 to pinning 120.

Well, I'm cool, what can I say.

Exept the other day this girl from school was in the car infront of me, and she saw me, and started waving, and I struggle to keep a strait face, till her mom started coming over into my lane and I just passed her. Why do people do that?! I hate this girl, she does drugs and drinks and crap...anyway.

The funniest thing I did was on the last day of summer school(when my mom was late). I was in the parking lot and one of the pricipals tried to talk to me as I was in the car, I saw her coming and my mom didn't and I went about 35(my mom was pissed at that) out of the lot(cause there were kids there...I'm not gonna go 10mph infront of my fans).

Also, did I mention that the 323 has great brakes? They lock up at 3mph(as I found out several days ago when my bro was watching me move the 3 to a different spot on the parking lot...er driveway). I backed out and onto the driveway across the street, then I went forward and my bro was there waving at me like I was going to hit him(cause we play around alot) and I just slammed on the brakes and my bro just fell down laughing. After precision parking behind the RX-7 on the driveway(my bro guided me up to within half an inch of the bumper, we have to do this so that they all fit on the driveway), I got out, and there's 4 skid marks(barely visible, but about the size of the part of the tire that is on the ground) on the road...great car.

damnit, every time I post about something it's a damn essay!

Yes, I noticed that. Is your driveway a used car lot also? We have 4 cars in the driveway, and 2 in the garage. Its real fun when you have to pull out of the driveway.
