I've missed about four days playing since I bought the game. All were involuntary. Today I just didn't care. The daily races were the reason I logged in. I loved the prospect of fresh, new combinations of track and car. I now have 1/7th the reasons to play the game so that's about all I'm going to play. That makes me very sad. GTSport, despite its minor frustrations, has been an enjoyable daily experience and now that's gone.

I’d settle for race c lastinng 3-4 days, but I definitely don’t want that lobby to go back to a daily rotation. Couldn’t care less about the other two lobbies since they are only short races anyway.

I should not have raced today, yet I wanted to try the Ferrari and now for some reason I'm trying to get my SR back to 99. However race C is getting dirtier by the minute. It's played out, the dirties have won. Bring back the dailies, bring back the people trying to race without bumping.

Note, I never left SR.S, just on the edge between the low and high SR.S rooms. Both are dirty and every contact costs SR. I thought it would improve once people have time to learn the track yet it seems the opposite is happening.

I'm not surprised. You need a break, dailys becoming weekly races or not.

I haven't completed a race on GTS since the update.

The races are getting dirtier? So, the whole "itll make the racing better" argument has failed. Sigh...

Did my racing this week on these tracks. Now it's the wait for Mondays new ones isn't it? But ive convinced the missus to do other things all day that day as I boot up my T150 and go racing all day long

I've only played a Race A this week but I must say it's all been pretty clean. I'm on a run of six consecutive clean races at the moment.

I've only gotten back into this game after the latest patch though, primarily for the helmet editor. I stopped playing a few months back when you got penalised for your exhaust fumes hitting another car.

The lack of variety in the races has already seen my daily mileage drop significantly from when the patch was released on Monday. Weekly is too long. They should be available 48 hours at most IMO.

This. A 2-day refresh window will be the best middle ground. Those who missed a good combination still have the next day to race it, while continuously keeping it fresh. Another suggestion - although this might stretch the servers a bit thin - is that in addition to Race A, B and C, we get Race D, E, F and G. One for every day of the week.

I'm a bit mixed. To contrast the OP, yesterday was the first day I got to play the new "weekly". It was nice logging in and seeing my friends list top time have like 10-20 times in it, instead of the usual 4-5. Clearly more people got to try this combo, including me. If it was just the Monday I would have missed it entirely. In the race I still saw a lot of the regulars that I normally get matched against in A/S. It didn't feel like there were less players online.

I don't want to upset anyone but maybe this move from PD wasn't aimed at the person that already plays 20-40hrs of sport mode a week, and more to get some of those more casual drivers into sport mode.

I think if anybody did play 40 hours of sport mode per week, i'd be wondering where their 40 hour work week was supposed to fit in there.

Unless they are unhireable/work shy lazy etc I guess.

Guess some people only want gaming as their "job". But that's a whole different story.

All the whining this week has amused me I admit. It has singled out the players with far too much time on their hands if nothing else.

Everyone else with girlfriends/kids/lives/commitments etc have not been anywhere near as bothered as far as I have ascertained.

This is an incredibly rude assumption. So now we're all trash because we have a bit of gaming time? Politely see yourself out the door.

Hi, I'm the OP of the thread about daily races turning to weekly races. Ya know, the one where everyone is whining?

I'm pretty ticked off by this change and I have a girlfriend, a job, I am a full time university student with a masters thesis in the field of Geological Sciences, I have a new kitten to care for, and I too have various other commitments to complete. I still usually complete a few races a day in the morning/evening and it bugs me the track roster is the same...

Sorry I dont have the most exciting life, but I do consider myself quite busy.

Edit: Literally never said I "played 40 hours". Not sure how a couple of races in the morning translates to that. Whatever, More people to ignore I guess.

Not that your comments aren't (somewhat) valid, but what makes you think that anyone here would care about your assessment of their life?

Kinda presumptuous?

I’ve actually been playing less because of two other reasons:

1. The drop in resolution of the decals is terrible! They weren’t amazing to begin with but now they’re very blurry. I loved creating liveries, seeing other’s creations.

2. The fact that PD wants me to pay more money to play less of their game.
The realization that PD doesn’t respect my time, is trying to nickel+dime me and that it employs slot machine behaviour exploits just really sours my feelings about the game.

Good call. I have about a 55-60 hour work week, and normally do some sport racing 5 or 6 days a week. Very disappointed by the daily race change, and haven't turned on the PS4 since Monday. Next week I'll probably give Willows Springs a try.

I could not agree more with you :bowdown::bowdown:

I did all of the campaign races to get my campaign back to 100% and tried 2 laps at Suzuka in the dailys to feel the new tire model, but I did not race. If it was not for the endurance race I have tomorrow night I would be done with GTS until a race C combo shows up that I like. This is the longest I went without running a daily race since I started racing the dailys. Speaking of the update and daily races what is up with that new track PD gave us??? Did all of their computers break down? It appears they are now using an Etch-A-Sketch to design tracks, I would have thought that they were antiques and rather hard to find by now. LeCrap has got to be one of the worst tracks ever from PD, go straight- right angle right turn- go straight again-right angle left turn-go straight yet again-then another right angle right turn, repeat-repeat................
