I've noticed a bit of confusion regarding the toe-angle settings.

This is regarding the understeering problem..

Some people say that the front wheels must have low settings like: -0.5 or lower, and the rear end must be set high (above +0.5)
- But I have also seen the quite opposite: Front +0.5, Rear -0.5...

So my quetion is: Is there anyone out there that knows 100% sure which one is correct??
Which one gives the smallest turning radius, and better cornering?

Expert tuners, please respond... :)

This depends on the car, track and your own drivingstyle.

A positive toe increases maneouvrability (sp??!) but can create some oversteering beasts... A negative toe does... well, the opposite.

have you ever had to slow down a good amount in order to make a turn? assuming your speed isn't absurd, that what undesteer feels like, like draging a concrete block.

Now :

If ya go F - and R + you'll have a tyre setting like :
/----\
\----/

If ya go F + and R - then you'll have a setting like :

\----/
/----\

So the first seems better for a radius right ??

Yer welcome buddy...

what is understeer in the first place?

Understeer is when the vehicle slides at the front - i.e. more grip at the back than at the front.

About 99% of road cars understeer.

Thanks man :)

So my settings are not too bad afterall..
Too bad that a lot of people drive with the "reversed settings":
\----/
/----\

No wonder that they cant get the Zonda to turn...

Toe - out in front will drop steering response, but it can reduce the loss of grip when turning hard.
Toe - in on the rear boosts the straight line stability of the car.
Toe - out on the rear makes the car turn more easily, and low level oversteer may appear, makeing the car more difficult to control. the Rear Toe angle is said to have a greater effect on the cars personality then the front. this is 100% fact taken from the game. albeit i reworded it a bit :)
