Remember broken glass that was on GT5 trailer, it took off the final release.
I thought it was just broken headlights. I don't remember broken glass being in any of the trailers.

On the blue Lancer Evo X at Tokyo track, look at the glass

Well what is it for you ? it s not the whisper. you clearly see a line on the glass

IMHO it is a wiper. We all know that the implementation of the deformation in the cars in GT5 results in all kinds of clipping and glitches.

Yes it may be a glitch but shadow reflection are wll done to be a glitch.

Hopefully when you slam into something it doesn't make a thud like you slightly bumped a light poll. But instead glass shattering and metal clanking..I doubt it though.

Surprisingly the jaguar I was in was not taking much damage that i could see.

I'm guessing that damage is more on some cars than others. Kinda like GT5, some had pretty decent damage while most were smudges/deformation.

I'm sure this will be on people's list of what to do, find out what cars damage the most!

Someone posted a google translation from a German website that had reviewed the game and sadly they said collisions still sound like someone beating a trash can. :(

Ya still has that thud sound

Did you test any GT500 cars? I know there was a video of the HSV being driven around Tokyo, but the driver was terrible. I did notice that the speed of it through corners was very fast though.

Nope, for an hour waiting in line, I got 2 laps of tsukuba in the new jag.

Going back there monday though

I don't think Kaz will ever give a **** about realistic sound. It's just not important to him.

I would be happy to find out that GT6 had the graphics of GT2 with realistic sounds and physics.

@colj00 if you get time, click on split screen mode to see what screen loads after it? :)

The XK RS? At least you know there was huge interest in GT6 by your wait just to play!

All those scratches...but no dents? I would rather PD not do any visual damage than to half-ass it like that...
Ah thats probably an old build, I caused heaps of dents on cl600. even have dynamic lighting so you see the reflection off the various angles caused by the dent.

Got a link?

Oops, sorry if I worded it incorrectly. Perhaps the collision sounds will be improved with the fabled sound update. 👍

Well, the tire sounds were updated (from that TMS video, the M3 GT gameplay) so maybe we can hope for collision sounds update too?
