Wow...
But I think TXR3 is pretty good. I also think that the cars can be bought for just a little cheaper than they are now. It can cost a lot to get an FTO or a 3000GT. I think what might upset fans is the exclusion of Honda/Acura. Don't give me that "they don't want rice rockets" deal. As I play this, I'm playing TXR0 to hark back to my younger times of playing TXR0. Going to see what improved/worsened since TXR3.
Anyhow, Honda/Acura are not in the game. I'm not saying I'm a fan of Honda/Acura, but I think fans of Japanese cars will be upset that they aren't in. Everything from the Beat to the NSX won't be in. I would think a JGTC-style NSX would be cool as well.
I'm playing TXR0, and the cars are priced MUCH CHEAPER than TXR3. Of course, the machines don't have real names, but resemble their real life counterparts. I also think that the color scheme is more realistic, having both a primary and secondary scheme to paint. One thing I like about TXR3 is how can you can take in clues about the Wanderers so you can try and find out how you can challenge them. In TXR0, you can learn what cars have what kind of horsepower. For example, Blood Hound's race-prepped Lexus (or should I say Toyota, since this is Japan I'm talking about) has 820hp and weighs 3473 pounds (but why did he keep beating me?
Oh, and here's a tip I'd like to share. If you know you don't have the car to beat, look for places in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka where you can have the environment get into the way of the rival. This means that if you are in Tokyo, you'll need to enter the Ginza. If your rival hits one of the two walls that divide the street, you might have a chance to beat the rival. In Nagoya, racing on the Kanjou means you'll have to enter at Higahi Betsuin to get an edge over your rival. In Osaka (beautiful city in the game), enter through Shinanobashi. If your car is fast enough, you can actually force the rival to make a mistake after the chicane.
And to end, check out these two sites. They are helpful for finding the Wanderers and their locations:

That is all. So race on! Meanwhile, I'll try to earn some more money and race my DeTomaso to victory. I'm already at 599 horsepower, and the car handles like a charm. Once you get the slipping-sliding cured, this is a great car to race. Just beat EIC@MSR in Osaka to get it, then you can buy it for 111,500 CP. Trust me, it's a great car. And when it comes to the game stopping at the rival screen, it kind of happens when you are looking at a rival's car and you want to back out of the menu.
