It's rumored to be built in England so they can bypass the gentlemen's agreement and will have a tons of power coming from a TT Nissan 2.6. here is some spec on it..

550ps
0-60 in 3.3 second.
Uses the RB26Dett tuned to 2.7L
Inline 6 Twin Turbo

In the truth, the engine is to the rear axle front, to favor the distribution of weight of the machine. One is about the excellent RB26DETT! Laiest they must ask: e from there! Well, the RB26DETT is nothing more, nothing less of the one than the engine that equips the Nissan Skyline Gt-r34, and that in the plant configuration it produces 280 horses (320 horses extra-official), but that diverse Japanese preparadores obtain to extract without much work, powers of the order of 600 horses. It has companies bolder than they more produce units of this exactly motor with 1000 horses or, as it is the case of an impressive version of the Veilside of 1300 horses!

The RB26DETT is one six cylinders in line of 2.6 liters (2568 cc), with block in steel and headstock of 24 valves DOHC in aluminum, bi-turbo, that in the Skyline has front and longitudinal setting. In the ZZII, its displacement it was modified for 2.7 liters (2699 cc), the turbines had been retrabalhadas to favor its wadding and reply and the setting of the engine was modified for transversal position in such a way for space question, as to improve the exploitation of the power and torque. The result is that in the ZZII, it it produces 550 54,5 horses to the 7300 rpm and kgfm of the 6000 torque rpm.

But it is not only the engine that was loaned of the Skyline. All the motor set was adapted for the super-machine of Tommy Kaira. The excellent exchange of six marches, was installed to produce at the same time acceleration levels next to the fastest cars of the world, as compatible final speed. To contribute with low times for acceleration, the system of integral traction (this exactly, in the four wheels) Attesa-ets, with intelligent electronic control of distribution of torque in the four wheels. Thus, the ZZII would be capable to very tracionar better that its competitors with traction only in two wheels.

But the "trick" did not finish for there. The lesser dimensions of the car in relation to the Skyline, had consequentemente favored the adoption of carbon fiber axles, diminishing the weight and the mechanical inertia and losses of the traction mechanism. The sub-chassis is a tubular structure in aluminum, that added to the low weight of would carroceria of fibre glass, produces an car of only 1000 kg! Everything this contributes to more produce worthy numbers of performance of célebres and expensive competitors: only 3,3 km/h and 336 the 100 seconds are necessary to reach km/h of maximum speed, being that in less than 20 the 300 seconds already he is km/h!

Mainly had to its predicates of performance, the Tommy Kaira negotiated a partner for produziz it in England, a time that exists a restrictive legislation how much the power of the vehicles produced in Japan. Only 100 units of the ZZII would be produced, to the price of about USS 100.000,00. However, difficulties in making right a partner, as well as others of financial order, had made impracticable the car and its production. Thus, this apaixoanante super-machine was restricted to the archetypes constructed for homologation or in the maximum a simulation of that the car would be capable, through the Gran game Tourism 3, where also a unit of the "Machine of the Dreams" can be found!

Sorry for long paragraph for people who wnats to know about the ZZII

Most of the racing cars are real, the only ones that arn't are the F1 cars which are based on real ones, the FTO LM, S2000 LM, RX-7 LM and Altezza LM.

How did Tommy Kaira make the ZZII when the agreement between all japanese manufactor said no power greater than 280ps which is 276hp? Yes the ZZII is real and yeah it does use a RB27DETT which means it is 2.7L instead of the 2.6L of the R34.. this car is simply amazing i never knew that japanese has a 550hp Supercar it is ultalite and it flies.. anyways i dont know too much and im researching now... my question is still
How Did they make the ZZII when the 276HP limit was still on? I heard that Tommy Kaira is known for making higher power car such as a GT-R and tuning it as its own releasing it with more power. Is Tommy with Nissan because the only two car the Tommy GT-R and the ZZII both have relationship with Nissan Motor.

The agreement is only for production cars, there is a very limited number of ZZ-II's built, not enough to class it as production, look at the road version of the TS020 GT-One, it's real and it was built in Japan but there is only 1 of them so it doesn't count.

Actually ZZII was built in england to not having that agreement thing so it said it was a production car but yeah it is the only way is they went out of japan to make it.

Sorry to go off topic....but for the last time....

EVERY CAR IN GT3 ISN'T REAL!!

The LM cars (Impreza LM, S2K LM, RX-7 LM, FTO LM, Altezza LM) Are fantasy cars, not real (although the rx-7 lm looks a HELL of alot like the amemeiya (sp?) RX-7 of GT2 which is a real car)

The Zonda Race Car is not real (well it is NOW but when GT3 was made there was no such car)

The Camaro Race Car is just a creation they threw together while making the game

and I faintly remember another...but having a hard time remembering....blah anyway the ZZII is sweet:p

Indeed it does, although the PE Racing Amemiya RX-7 runs in the GT300 class of JGTC, I believe, and the RX-7 LM has 600hp... :D

I did do a list of all the racing cars, real or made-up, but I forgot where it is... :D

The ZZ-II isn't a production car, not enough of them have been built for it to be a production car.
