It has come to my attention that a vast amount of people enjoy Tool. The concept of this thread is basic. You vote on wheather you like them or not.

I've been a diehard Tool fan since Aenima appeared, though I did enjoy hearing them before then. It took a few listens but I now have Undertow high on my list of "desert island" albums.

I listen to the occasional song.

This being since their songs are always lengthy, they take long to download for me. :D

There awesome.... Maynard's solo album "A Perfect Circle" wasn't that bad either. From a production aspect, "A Perfect Circle" was recorded on his computer using ProTools in his garage! Quite a production for what they used for equipment.

Tool Rocks!

I have that CD. It's awesome. Maynards voice when he's not screaming is wonderful. The lead singer of the deftones and Maynard sound awesome together.

They absolutely rock.
So far I've only listened to "Lateralus"
I love it.
Then, without hesitation, run to your nearest music store and buy both Aenima and Undertow. They're both even better than Lateralus.

Klostrophobic is a Tool fan also.

Tool rocks. It's a shame that I can only buy Lateralus, though. All the others have the dreaded "sticker" on them. Blegh, I hate ratings.

Yeah, songs like "Hooker With A Penis" and "Prison Sex" will do that to you. Bummer, man. Any chance a friend could buy them for you?

Tool is great, but you can't get their album over here. No one knows about Tool at all. Myself, I got to know them over here in GTP. Eveyone seemed to like them, I though I'd give it a go.

Lateralus,Sober,Schism,Parabola,The Patient,Push It are my favourites. :D

I have A Perfect Circle too. 3 Libras is possibly the best song on their album. A nice, soothing song.

Heh, heh....You said "Tool".....:p
My friends & I enjoy playing their stuff. We saw Breaking Benjamin w/ Godsmack & Ben plays the riff from "I know the pieces fit" & the crowd went nuts! (That's not the name of the song is it?) Yeah, and Godsmack was AWESOME!!!!!

Tool are great, I might go out and get undertow and maybe opiate tomorrow (I doubt i'll get opiate mainly becase it will be like £500000 pounds or something).

On another note Godsmack rule, although their second album was pretty sucky. Faceless seems to rule though, so i'm definitely going to buy that tommorow.

Actually, I think the song is called "Pu****", but thats just me nitpicking. In any case, Tool is one of the most talented bands around I think right now. Their songs are so complex but well put together; its great. I don't really like Godsmack; I don't have a CD but all of their songs one the radio sound exactly alike. Almost like I could play each song at the same time and they would have just different words but the same basic song construction.

EDIT: Wow, I didn't even think the censor would do that.

That's cool, I couldn't think of the name of the song.
Godsmack's songs are hard & driving. Not "Nu-Rap-Metal". That's why I like them. The songs on the radio don't really do them justice, as a musician, I can tell you these guys are TIGHT & they put on one hell of a show! Just my opinion. ;)

The name is "Schism" and it does rock.

Note the signature ;)

Seen them live numerous times, own multiples of all existing albums including a few kick-ass bootlegs. Been a hardcore fan since the release of Undertow.

Favorite Song = Push-it (live version on Schism)

Far and away, no contest, most certainly my all-time favorite,.. now, and forever. (unless Maynard killed my family,... then , I supposed I'd like them a little bit less, but not much  ).

Just want to toolband.com,... looks as if Maynards Mom passed away on the 18th,.. services to be held on 28th,... RIP Judith Marie Keenen.
