I was not a big gamer but then i got gt5 and cant stop lol i have always had a hard time stopping though and i found an article about using the hand brake and foot brake at the same time. I looked at the controlls menu to see which button the hand brake was and it turns out i have been using only the hand brake the whole time lol i made it to level 36 and through almost all races to endurance only with the hand brake lol now im using the foot brake and this game got really easy lol

Cool, I saw this when I road in my buddies with 350hp and he switched highways at wot scared tge piss out of me felt as fast other bodies 500hp supra awesome car they are rare hopefully they will bring them back rx8s r ok but I don't like tge rear doors and odd shape and lackbof turbos
 
I got to be honest I can actually believe this. Who knows maybe he went round a mates 6 months ago and played ridge racer or burnout and as soon and you break and turn you drift, play GT5, he breaks, he drifts. Easy mistake, well maybe not "easy" but for a non-gamer then yeah :)
 
Can't wait to hear your story about how you thought the spacebar was a period.

I know a lot of guys that don't know how a SMG/Assault Rifle/Hand Gun works but love playing FPS games.

He probably knows the basics of how a car works but didn't know the layout of the controls. Pretty easy mistake to make if you are not a familiar with GT and even easier if you are not even a casual gamer.

I'm suprised you didn't question the weird braking physics and kept playing with joy.
 
But how could he seriously miss the square button? And anyway, when ever I play a game I've never played, I either read the instructions book or test the buttons first to know what they do. So that's a bit strange IMO.

^^^ it's hard to imagine getting that far with just a handbrake. I wouldn't enjoy GT5 as much.

well that's completely different.

It's insane how Karlgaming only used handbrake. It must be uncomfortable not always hearing tire screech and not needing to do quick slides to go through every corner. Good luck to you, happy gaming.

LMAO KarlGAMING, it's misleading. You're a newbie to gaming.
 
So the rear tail lights not lighting up when you "braked" wasn't a warning flag.... and that slowing down from 20mph will spin you out is totally accurate of a sim racing game.

Do a lap around the ring with a Yellowbird and tell us your time :)
 
There's no reason to lie. If he's lying, there's no gain in that.
 
Karl, what car you prefer to use ? I want to try... This is much a challenge /refreshment, heck PD should make a seasonal with brake restriction, lol

Seriously, can you share your setup? An example race maybe ?
 
What was your first car? Presuming it was an FF then that's a big challenge to keep it straight as you wouldn't really be able to drift much out of those..

True, but he does claim to go sideways a lot round corners so I don't think that would be possible with all aids on.

Im sure with the handbrake he will go sideways but the SRS prevents him from loosing it completly...
 
I used the nsx type s 97 alot because the engine slows the car down pretty good. Anyways im 39 years old and im sorry i even started this thread, i thought it would be fun to tell what i did but all the people calling me a liar is ridiculous, why would i lie? To the people who ejoyed this im glad and to those who call me a liar you canstop, im not posting to this thread anymore.

36 in 2 weeks cause im home in bed with broken ankle and heel so nothing else to do
