By all accounts this is the only decent mainstream rock album to come out this year. And I think the fact that a best of album is tied for second place really shows how poor the quality of today's albums are.

I just heard Reise, Reise today at a friends house, and I was thourougly impressed! I probably would have voted for it instead of Best Of Both Worlds had I heard it before I voted.

Actually, I'm 19, and I do like some of the bands nominated

I'm torn between In Flames' "Soundtrack To Your Escape" and Van Halen's "Best of Both Worlds".

As I can't choose, I'll have to go with "Best of Both Worlds" as it's a 2CD album. Hah.

Lamb of God, the only CD that I willingly purchased with my own money as opposed to conning someone else to buy it just so I can copy all of the songs into my computer. They got my vote, and my 20 bucks. But it was ALL WORTH IT.
