Well, this is the first time I've been in this position, In the Monza Time Trial seasonal event with the RedBull X2010, I managed to pull a top 1000 in the world time, I was Happy with my first lap when I ended up 32XXth so i decided to see what I could pull off, SO i kept going and slowly climbed up the leader board.. Then finally I found a better way around the Chicane, I took it Wider in and came out of it inside, and it saved me tons of time and then I did the same on the 2nd chicane, I love being able to see where your car was in the prior fastest lap, makes it easier to see where you can save time, I think my Final lap time was some where in the high 58's but don't quote me on that :sly: I was Pretty suprised, but when I think about it, The last rebull time trial I was in the 1800's I believe, So I've improved I guess 👍 I just Can't see how they were running 56's :dunce:
Where did everyone else end up? Also, do you think Polyphony Digital should Give us more of these instead of racing AI? Because in My Opinion I have ALOT more fun racing real peoples lap times and being able to take as long as you'd like, Plus the Pay-Out is pretty fine as well :bowdown:

At my 3rd round i got a time of 0:56,224. So i'm at place 136 worldwide atm.
If i only count the other german drivers, than i'm 14 th in germany.
Maybe i try to get faster next days/weekend ...
Have to change the setting and my way through some corners i think.

Btw.: I think the track sucks for a time trial with a X2010, cause of the big/large curbs ...
I really hope for a time trail at Nordschleife some day, have to beat my 3:26... there. :D

I think I was 730rd in the Eiger Nordwand rally time trial, but I managed a 1:02.xxx in the X2010 TT.
 
1:00.690, thats roughly six seconds off my last run, I'm at 1664th right now, I'm confident I can get below a minute. I am the fastest out of everyone on my PSN friends list though, so I'm quite happy about that.
 
I did 1:03 in my first 2 laps... Haven't tried since. I have no idea at all what is my standing though. May attack it again in a few moments.
 
I just did it for the money, all i know is that i was in the top 300 when i did it. i'm most likely 23848384701289579078723905782nd by now

Note: i did it the night the event opened

The highest I've ever managed in a time trial was probably about top 500 in a Deep Forest Raceway Reverse time trial, with 305bhp and 1000kg limits. Obviously used the R390 for it but still, not bad for someone like me! Here in this X2010 trial I'm about 7500th-ish.
 
I just did 1:00:00 But that's with a increased downforce. I suck at tuning. Can anyone here give me their setups? I wana see if I can break it under 1 minute.

As of this moment I'm ranked 1060th with 59.321. There is definitely a full second I could trim from there. But that is satisfactory for me with a DS3 and moderate skill level.

Running 56's...yeah, that would be tough. Would take some fine tuning of the aero and a fully broken in X2010. I run it with max aero and don't have to brake at Curva Parabolica, but top speed is only 255mph. With some precision I could probably get away with maintaining full speed at Ascari, but I've not been able to get through there cleanly without letting off the gas.

I'm with you, Mitch...these are good fun. I do wish there were more.
There should be some prize ($$$ or gear) for breaking your own record. That would really up the ante.

I took out my 0km Redbull, and got 2,000th (1:00:7xx lap) on my 10th attempt, and called it a day. I set ABS to 0, and increased my brake BIAS lots somewhat. I experimented with softer ARB , springs, and DECreased FR downforce to the point of a happy medium (non velcro-like handling) and lower toes to eliminate Wheel wobble. Now it feels like a really fast F1, not bad afterall. Still unreaslistic.

I only practiced and tinkered the car, at the final curve (double apex) to the point where I can take it "almost" flat out.

Yeah, knowing how to take those chicanes and blast out of them with speed and accelleration, makes the difference between a 54s lap, and that of 1:0x laps. I don't want to bust my G25 with it, but this is all that is holding me back from Platinum trophy

Wish PD could implement a 70 degree wheel-lock on the G25/G27 for this.

But still, I think about a whole 6 seconds between 1st place and 2,000th... 6 seconds on a REDBull, that's like 1/4 Daytona lap... I don't think I could 54s the Monza even if it had NO chicanes! lol

I did came 2500th in the Trial Mountain time trial from a while ago. I have a wheel but don't want it anymore.

I ran it again and now I'm 825th with a 58.775. I saved the replay and if I drop below 1000th, I'll run it again.
I lessened the Rear Downforce to 180 and changed the Transmission a bit. I also found a way through the first Lesmo flat out and made it through Ascari flat as well.
I lose time on the two braking sections.

I use MILD Active Steering and run 10 Red laps to 1 Blue one. There are many better than that. I'm much more stubborn than good.

wow, that's fast 👍 .. and that is funny that you cant beat that challenge :dunce: yet you can beat ALOT of people that have more then likely golded it :sly:

I guess Nürburgring and Suzuka are a little bit more difficult than Monza ... ;)
 
Done a 56.530 with a DS3, max downforce. every corner is flat apart from the first two chicanes. Finding it very hard to go faster, thats my limit anyway, and max downforce helps. Rank 263 at the moment
 
On my first attempt I got 1.16, got 32000th, thought it was enough.
 
59:159 so was around 1421 at time i did it.
 
by now I may have dropped below 1000.. Im going to redo it to beat my time sooner or later 👍
 
Tried last night, still stuck at 56.7xx
Got to find a way to nail those two chicanes faster

The leaders with 53s are amazing
