You can definitely go a full 2 wheels off on Eifel. Haven't tried 3 or if it counts an 'off' at the centerline vis a vis Iracing. I am a little bit worried when I see unfamiliar people suddenly jump into the top 10 and we can't see replays.

There are a few places where you can actually get 3 wheels in the grass without DQ. Discovered this on accident when I was certain I was off track after going wide on an exit and it didn't DQ my lap. Checked the replay and sure enough, all but the inside front wheel was in the grass.

Of course, this also led to a decent pendulum effect, so there wasn't any time to be gained, at least not in my case.

i didnt find any places except the 2nd to last turn or so. Im sitting second on eifel for now. That gtr is something else

what region are the top ppl who havent posted located?

Fix
Eers
Z06fun

All 5 of those are northeast.

is there any more in the southeast who havent posted. Im trying to remember some names. Great driving btw texas driven. Dam full second over me

I did a handful of laps at Indy, I haven't touched Eifel yet, I am letting Bobo take the reigns...I am confident he can make the top 8 for me.

Figure out some way he can reach the pedals?

It's starting to look like a 59.0 isn't going to be good enough for the midwest. Chiefdnd hasn't put up a full entry yet, and he'll definitely be in the top 5. I think I can get down to a 58.5, which may or may not be good enough. Either way, I'm glad to be in the midwest and not the northeast or west...

West (in no particular order)

timeattack, doctor, rackattack, cheef, s_diem, ja_cl, R1600, gtp99

wildcards... egag, earlyAPEX, myself

Thanks for the mention! And, I'm positive you will make it. I wouldn't call you a wildcard. As for me, I've been sick this whole week. :nervous: I hope I get better soon since I have not been able to put a time on the boards and we are at the halfway point already.

Cutoff by region:

Southeast: 3:59.214
Midwest: 3:58.905
West: 3:58.508
Northeast: 3:58.505

...but in the Northeast z06fun, fizzer, windmaker, others don't even have true entries yet. 6 of the drivers are 3:57.8 or below, and that doesn't even include 3wide.

I'm calling it a night, but I'll probably have to work at it every day before I leave on Saturday...and I still might not make it :scared:

I hope to run a .2 or better at both tracks for a combined 3:57.5ish, but that will probably BARELY make it in the Northeast (if at all). :irked:

God. 3wide's a hurricane. We should nickname him Katrina since he comes out of nowhere and does millions of dollars worth of ego destruction.

1.maxxbernstein 1:40.605 2:18.043 3:58.648
2 TX_Driven3 1:40.607 2:18.045 3:58.652
3 smeadows99 1:40.838 2:17.814 3:58.652

look how close the tie is for 2nd in the southeast. I dont know how i managed a 2:17.8 but i did. Indy is killing me. I cant find another .200

Speaking of who's moving on, it seems to be common knowledge around here that the national finals are to be held in Orlando. I'm just curious how we know that, since I don't see that in the official rules. Also, since we seem to know the location, do we know the dates?

Thanks.

It's in the rules, but only once. Honestly, I don't think it was supposed to be included as it was mentioned in a casual manner:

"...Orlando finals brackets..."

That makes me wish I was in the southeast. I'm sitting at 8th in the Midwest with a 58.620. The bubble dropped almost .3 overnight :scared:

Who woulda thunk it, its looking like we might have to get down to a 57.5 to move outa the northeast

Why cant they just take the top 32 overall and send em to Orlando?! Screw this region crap. I mean really, whats the point?

Sorry, Im just mad because Im slow and I probably wont advance. >=(

I don't think the fastest TT all ways equates to the fastest real life diver. Lucky for us down I the SE we have an older group with a lot of full-time workers so there is not as much pressure early on, it will get crazy as Sunday comes I can already tell people will play nonstop.

Hunk you're not slow. Eifel takes time to be fast there. Just practice as much as you can and take regular breaks. You'll get there man.

NE is crazy fast :(
