You forgot to mention the exhaust from the dragster creates 800 pounds of downforce.
Omnisthe force of a dragster deploying its airbags and a F1 car on full brakes is enough to rip the retinas from your eyes.
driving in the land speed vehicle next to a bullet would be impossible, i think. the air displaced by the car would disrupt the bullet's flight path, right?
if you stuck your arm out of a car at 700mph, you'd be sucked out with your arm ripped off.
Slick6Do you have a link to that video? I've never seen it, but I've been looking for it. Thanks.![]()
McLaren'sAngelAnd LethalChem, can you please post that link of that Mustang Turbo going to a fast food place? I am sure we all want to see it.![]()
ND4SPDWho.....heres another cool thing, if you have the land speed record holding car, Thrust SSC, which btw does around 763mph. If you have it pass you the moment you shoot a gun, you'll still be faster than a bullet....Whoa, or if you have a bit higher powered bullet that matches the Thrust SSC car, you can have a bullet right beside you....Cool.
hee hee i love that movie.SlipZtrEmSomeone's been watching Rat Race, haven't they?![]()
One interesting addition to that though. Pushing the clutch pedal down in a top fuel dragster in fact engages the clutch. Yes, you push the clutch in to engage it. Just the oposite of a normal car.Fun fact! In order to press down the clutch on a TFD, your leg must exert a force of 140LBS
