By the way, as expected, the three SD trailers that were released in the PSN GT5P demo last year are back ! they are now available in a longer version though.

you can now watch and download them in Gran Turismo's official website.

Super GT video called "Fascination for the Super GT" is 6"07.
D1GP video called "The Drifting World" is 5"11
The missing Best Motoring trailer should come soon.

What's new is Video Option videos will be featured as well. a trailer is available. :)

D1GP, Super GT and Best Motoring releases in the GT-TV are scheduled for this year.

I'm just downloading these videos in my japanese Prologue, and I really like having this - a very promising and entertaining idea.

However, there's a minor "fault" in the concept of GT-TV: you can not download videos in the background. In the PS3 system, you can start the download of a trailer or a demo, then do whatever you like (like playing, watching other videos, browse the store and so on), and you even get a little note when the download finishes. In GT-TV, you just have to sit and wait until the download has finished. I don't think that a download consumes so much computing power that you can not play while it downloads to your hdd.

Like I said, a very nice concept, but my above thought would improve it even more if you ask me.

GT TV is very cool, watching the GT-R clips and the Tokyo Motorshow footage was awesome, especially since I was there :)

But there are issues: I think it should be an add on item in the store that can be downloadable to an external hard drive and DRM should be handled via Gran Turismo or better still the PS3 in the same way it does DRM for the games.

We don't mind if you can only watch the movies if you have GT5 running, but please let me play the game when I log in, not sit there for hours waiting for a GT TV clip to download.
