First I would just like to say[no offense to polyphony
] but I'm sure the majority of us would prefer if they selected 2 other significant car models for premium rather than the stupid VW bus and that ancient wagon. I mean come'on! Lol LAME! .... Anyways I just CAN'T beat this one challenge with the Elise! No matter how fast or slow or easy I take it. Not even 5th place. Its just impossible. Why equip hard tires? Don't know... Why do the same speed as others and still slide? don't know... If someone has any kind of strategy or method on how to beat this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

I have a feeling Clarkson had something to do with picking the Bus, Elise, and whatever the hell the last one’s called; he’s got that sense of humor for it.

P.S.—I golded them all within two tries, controller, and I generally suck.

This challenge was hard, but so much fun! I finally won after grinding for a solid hour, just gotta learn to embrace the drift. Could always turn on Skid Recovery, but that just makes me feel dirty. :dopey:

Keep practicing and don't expect to be in 1st til after the tyre wall on lap 2. But it is doable, even with a d pad :sly:

Yup. That hardest part was actually finishing with getting DQ'd.

It took me a few hours to actually finish the Elise one, but I managed gold as soon as I did. Yes, I used Skid Recovery Force, even then my car felt like it was on ice, I could only take most turns at 10 - 15mph slower than the other cars without skidding.

The Samba bus and Kubelwagen challenges were easy. I got gold on them after a couple tries. No assists except ABS.
