ok, on the real show, when they do a stig lap, they show the car start from a stand still, is that how they actually time the lap? or do they time a lap that the stig is already rolling hot lap style? and if they do time it from a dig, is that not how we should all do it? to keep it realistic?
 
Correct if I"m wrong but I believe the car is at a stand still and not rolling. Not sure how many laps the Stig is entitled to do before using his best but he does do a several laps beforehand and they just use his best on the show.
 
yeahh, ive wondered why my times were seconds better with the same car :P .. i'll start doing it from the line for now on
 
How do we think the David Coulthard thing will be then? Which most likely will be on that track too..

OT:They time the lap from a standing start, and it's possible to do that with a lounge race.
