Lately i'ev being buying car magzines and saw the brand new Top Secret GTR, It's mouth watering and use a V8TT engine like nissan planed for the actual new GTR, its gotta be the best tuned car in the world. The owner, Smoky as Nagata is known as is also planing to do some top speed in the wangan Highway in japan, not like in Britain where he was caught Doing top speed Trials around 180MPH(310KPH). The Skyline Runs around 800HP(596.5KW), Powerful.

Nagata usually runs his cars on the wangan, I have several videos where he drives 320 km/h +.... crazy guy 👍 .... Honestly I don't like the fact that everybody uses V8s now.... I want back the straight 6 or at least V6 and then a nice turbo or a biturbo....

I have seen some pics of this car (V8TT) somewhere one the net.

The upcoming Nissan GTR will have a electronically assisted twin turbo 3.2L V6

A mate of mine is planning on breaking - or getting close to - the New Zealand Land Speed record in his 700 hp+ R32 GT-R. The record currently sits at about 354 km/h which was done by a R34 GT-R i think (correct me if i'm wrong).

He imported his 'R from Japan early this year and it is one of the first 500 built with a genuine N1 engine or something. It was set up for drag racing and spins all four wheels in third gear on the street...

Spins all four wheels???? Should a Skyline be doing that. I'm not 100% sure but I would have thought the Atessa system wouldn't put that much power to the front to make them spin, unless he's crapped the Atessa up.

Well it makes all it's power after about 5,000rpm. As the owner once posted in a forum (talking about it accellerating) "Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, ZOOOOOOOMM!!!"

It is known to jump over to the other lane too.

Unfortunately i never got the chance to ride in it (stupid rain) but two of my mates did and they said that he got it up to 240 km/h (in a 50 km/h zone) in a seriously short time.

Perhaps if it had grippier tyres on then it might not spin in third. But the majority of the roads over here are made of tar & volcanic rock which is basically the life sized version of sandpaper. A lot rougher than ashphalt (sp?) and less grippy.

And he hasn't done anything to the car apart from a couple of repairs as far as i know.

Oh. Well he's actually transplanting the engine from the aforementioned Skyline (pic below) into the black & orange one. Mainly because the black/orange is already set up for racing (dirt, 1/4 mile/ circuit etc).

The donor car:

The donor recipient (which with its current engine already does a 11.5 second 1/4 mile with Nitrous - about 550 hp).

Sorry for getting this off-topic HKS_T51KAI. :embarrassed:

Atessa ets will put upto 40% of power to the front wheels but if that 40% is more than the tyres can cope with then it will spin all fours.

I can't beleive that guy is going to transplant all that gear? I'd much rather stick with the orange/red GTR then that ugly heap of **** below it..

And the 354km/h was done by Owen Evens in his Porsche shortly before he crashed (at that speed) the Option Speed Trial which was done here a while ago never got near that speed..

Well both GT-R's he got as is (i.e. in the condition they are now). Apart from a few stickers on the orange/black one. The 'messy' one was specially built by the former owner to compete in the Goldrush Race To The Top Of The Sky (or whatever it is called). When it didn't do too good he sold it.

Tell me something. Would you risk crashing at 350 km/h in the nice tidy orange red one or in the messy orange black one? As far as i know only the engine is being transplanted.

Ah yeah thats right. 👍

its a very nice car to drive. Smooth transmission, damn near silent engine and nice handling. I'd like a bit more responsive handling but its a very good daily driver. Good field of vision and space for passengers storage.
