As i said before, they are using a wrong shader. ksTree, that's why the whole part is flying in the air. You need to fix it via ext_config in order to set the proper shader.

I had a quick look in the model, the reason is that the rim physical model doesn't exist, its another of these fake rims where the model isn't done right. That's why GTSupreme used the ksTress shader. You take that off and it becomes a mess. Probably the same for the brakes.
I am not using "blurred_objects.ini" or "ext_config.ini". I am not doing anything special. It works fine in the CM showroom, but on the track it just looks weird.
Yeah none of those would make a difference, its what CrisT86 said, but when you take that shader off it'll look weird, because the physical rim model doesn't exist.
 
Is there new bug or setup checkboxed by default with latest CSP?
Seems that 2D trees goes though 3D ones, by MoriSan for example. Even those tracks, that works previously - they rendering both.

I checked it three times and once again I managed to forget some files... 🤬 this time the models.ini files to make the objects placed with Track Decoration work.
Please redownload, updated the original link. 🤦‍♂️

Try this .kn5 file - just rename you existing one in the car folder as a backup and then try this.


I've fixed the models for the rims and brakes, hopefully that works fine, seems to be fine on my side.

Edit - My bad, forgot to change the shader settings, which I've done now.

About the nuclear grass...

I did some experiments and sure, actually the color of the grass is more pronounced in LCS.

I modified the pureLinear ppfilter for Pure LCS and added a luma-based tonemapping. So tones with a high luminance (green) have now a lower gamma curve.

You can activate this in Pure PP app Script tab, if you switch to the "color-safe" tonemapping.
Please give me some feedback...

Hi. Does somebody know what this black thing is at Fenryr's 0.9 version of Spa? I guess it is not supposed to be there, at least not in this shape anyway.

About the nuclear grass...

I did some experiments and sure, actually the color of the grass is more pronounced in LCS.

I noticed something @Peter Boese to which i never thinked when shared the post here on GTP since i not used/followed ac during the summer: I still using SOL which as you said should not work with latest CSP patches but for some reason on my side works fine (at least everything works fine like with older CSP patches) except the grass which btw seems not linked to SOL or PURE.

I know that i should switch myself from SOL to PURE but i'm afraid that this will require to update all my 800+ config i did over the years :lol:

Actually it does not work with CSP 0.2.10 or higher. And it would mean if you installed a higher CSP version it is not installed completely then. It I can again check this. Which CSP did you install?

Actually it does not work with CSP 0.2.10 or higher. And it would mean if you installed a higher CSP version it is not installed completely then. It I can again check this. Which CSP did you install?
i jump for development purposes (rain check) v0.2.3-p1 which is the latest ones that don't cause me the problem i reported many times (the one that won't allow me to select some meshes) and the v0.2.11 via CM. As said i don't found any issue by playing with the 0.2.11 and SOL (i have all the things i always saw with previous versions of CSP).
 
Offtopic: Did anyone here knew that long standing member Gregz0r has passed away june the 29th? Was quite a shock to find out (via Discord). Did not know the guy but really loved his 'real tv camera's' and VR video's. I think he was also the man behind a 'classic f1' videosite on FB/instagram? RIP mate...

An certain fella is locking the Le Mans Ultimate Aston Martin Valkyrie LMDh behind an paywall. So i just ported the exact same model over to AC for free. Grab it here (Updated to actually have the car this time)
Note: It's a total Frankenstein when it comes to physics basically re-uses KUNOS stuff with some tweaks from Chemflummi’s older mods, before he started encrypting the physics. Should be fine as a grid filler. Also, I couldn’t find a decent V12 audio file, so I just used CM’s replace audio feature and swapped in Nekotaisen’s Aston Martin DBR GT1 sound from way back. If the audio’s broken, just use that same feature and replace it again. You’ll just have to wait until VRC releases their Aston. I tried giving the car it's own audio but it just came out dead for me constantly.

Vegetation is a bit too dark for my taste, hope someone will confirm this. I think I saw ghosts coming out of those woods. Scary stuff.

Also, made the track quite heavy performance-wise.

Sorry but it will NOT work with later versions!
If it works on your side it only means that your CSP versions is below 0.2.10.
Even if you think you have CSP 0.2.11 installed it could be, not all the files are updated.

Try this:
"Delete patch" in CM - settings - CSP - about&update
Install CSP 0.2.11 again


Then start a session with Sol and please show me the CSP LUA Debug app and its "weatherFX impl." tab.
You will see an error there if CSP 0.2.10 or higher is installed.

I checked it on my test PC, where just a clean install of AC, CSP and Sol exist.

No idea man, but if CSP is not properly installed how it's possible that the latest RSS car loads fine in game since they requires it?

Sol is not running btw!

You just have the Sol weather app open, but you did not select Sol as weather style!

If that is what you want, you can even use Sol Planner app as controller but using the "default" weather style.


So CSP 0.2.11 is running fine! And also its own base weather style...

Probably when i reinstalled everything on my new pc i skip/forgot something, but i'm pretty sure i followed all the steps. Where i have to activate then?

EDIT: ok found, for some reason i missed the settings in WHEATER FX tab. Now i'll have for sure to test PURE then since it's a year that i'm using AC without SOL probably (unless something i installed/uninstalled changed something that i was not aware if possible, no idea). Thanks Peter

I think I will. The only thing that slowed me down from switching from SOL to PURE is the fact that, even though my PC is new, I didn't invest in a new GPU (since at the time the prices were crazy), so I'm still using my old 1060 6GB. Also, what scares me the most is the idea of having to update all the 800+ configs I've made and updated over the years since 2019. Thanks for your help Peter, much appreciated

Supposedly, as Peter mentioned, PURE is better optimized than SOL, which should mean there would be performance gains if you keep the same hardware, right?
