Xbox Fails.
I just got a TVR Cerbera Speed 12 '00 trying to find something that would be good in a drag race. Seen it had 799hp thinking it would be a beast tuned up. I tuned it all the way up over 1025hp and thought wow this thing will fly along side a Veyron. Got to Special stage 7 and went off having it top out at 230mph. Tried tuning the suspension and tranny and nothing to make it go even more. Oh well. Its a nice car I admit, will spin the tires at 4th gear with racing softs.

Bought a dodge challenger for the muscle car championship on monza, and It topped out around 130mph.. so I bought a mach 1, thinking maybe this one has 6 gears, same thing happened... I didnt want to buy a new transmission because I wanted to preserve the sound of the muscle cars.. But I was forced to buy the full customizable one.

was expecting a little more (At least 150mph)

All the old Muscle Cars tend to be geared to top out at around 120 mph. I presume it was to give them good accelleration in real life.

Me too! I eventually managed to win with a lot of blocking in my Challenger.

there's more to it than just having a thousand hp...

Very well said, I got the TVR speed 12 road car, it's pretty much standard and still on sports tyres, around Monza this car is just crazy, it hits 210mph along the main straight with a standard engine and standard weight, no other car can get close to that speed.

It puts a smile on my face like few other cars do, it's a beast of a car.

OP

Have you tried custom gearbox's set to maxing gear length and reducing down force to minimum, that should increase top speed a bit??
