Due to 1.06, you can now extend gears to a loony amount, but usually, such speeds are not achievable. What is your top speed that you have (legitemately) achieved?

I have gotten to 560km/h in a goooood draft with overextended gearing:nervous:

*Also, the top speed rated for my gearing is 1526km/h:drool::drool::nervous::nervous:
 
the best place to test it is prob circuit de la sarthe 2005. or does any one know a faster track. ive done some testing and the top speed is 285 evan with the rations set to 500mph it does 285 in third gear but no faster
 
too many Gs could put your testicles at risk of not being able to produce sperm anymore... be careful when your taking that X2010 up to those speeds... maybe even virtual Gs can have an effect on your baby making abilities.

Okay so maybe 600mph was a little much of a guess.
It was probably more around 300-400. The guy passed me like I was standing still though. :nervous:
 
I find over 300mph hard to believe, unless there's proof that it can be done.
 
hey just been sitting on my x1 trying to break a speed of 560 kmp/h +
and i've gotten legitimate 592 kmp/h which is my one and only top speed which il get ever again! :dopey:
 
300Mph I think would be impossible in real life(duhhh) but this game isn't 100% real so I think its possible in game.
 
300 mph isn't so surprising for a car that is so light, has so much power and is very aerodynamically efficient.

Anything above that though would be unrealistic without drafting.
 
300+ is possible without a draft. With multiple drafts I think an X2010 could push 400mph. However if you set the gear ratios as high as possible it says it will hit 600mph, but it definately doesn't have the power to do that.

****, i'm going to the bathroom :dunce: to see if this really happend... :grumpy:
 
Using drafting and final gear raitos maxed, i was able to get 305 in 6th gear in like the wind.
So i think we could get 350 at max using drafting.
