Hi guys and gals just thought i might bring a little action before torc12?If anyone interested:cool:
Ive picked two cars for this 8 day warmup:tup:
These two cars are very alike and seem to be very much the same on performance:D

The course is LAGUNA SECA:D

Cars RX7 TYPE RZ and RX8:) A class cars in arcade;)

Please help yourself to what ever car you feel is good for you:D
Normal rule's no walls, two wheels on at all times:cool:
No need for any replays but if you want you can post them

Best time in rx7 is 1.30.621:eek:
Best time in rx8 1.31.099:tup:

Hope people like my warm up:cool:

Great Idea Venom, was getting a bit bored twiddling my thumbs walking up and down the pit lane :D, will take a spin in the rex's later to stretch my midpack legs.
 
I thought it was a kind of 'tradition' for TOSK to post the official TORC preview event, typically a hot lap, and anywhere from 7 days to 14 days before the real races commence.

?????
 
I don't recall Tosk ever doing a warm up race :confused: and even if that's the case I don't think he'll mind ;)

RX8 is a sweet car though, I'll get a few attempts in soon:tup:
 
Remember doing a HL Torc warm up @ deep forest in an Esperante, can't remember what season it was though. Had a few of laps in the RX8, 1:33:160 :( Dunno about Laguna but I deffinately SUK
 
Hmm.. the Esperante at DF was the only TORC I ran in (10).

I thought that it was 'normal' for there to be a preview event... oh well...

I'll still run this, I just thought other things :D no harm intended.

Most GTF racers are now at GTX. Tosk found 'em. :)

Well.. had some laps in the RX-7.... will go onto the RX-8 later :D

0'23.905 (best was 23.737)
0'44.613 (best was 44.546)
1'07.277 (best was 1'07.217)
1'31.416 (with about 0.300 to come out)

Thanks man... I like LSR... hopefully it is a sign of things to come :cool:

But I really SHOULD get back to studying... and not racing the RX8... hopefully that can be true... but the 8 is calling... even though it has the second worst gearbox in the game (next to the S2000) .... :D:D:D

Rx7 - 23.881 / 44.426 / 1.07.025 =1.31.211

Rx8 - 24.171 / 44.931 / 1.07.361 =1.31.673

Both these cars can beat the 1.30.9 held by the Honda NSX :)

I'll try a few more tomorrow :cool:

I expect Link to take .5 off each of my runs on his next visit :D

1:32:336 ( 0:32:943 / 0:44:995 / 1:08:125 ) Now comes the boring part chasin down those odd tenths :D Did sneak into the 31:9's but had 3 wheels off through Rainey :irked:

Not touched the Lon-g-eared Rx-8 again yet.

@ Missing Link, I normally do post a pre season race, but I did not even think about it this time, but this one looks pretty good.

Hi everybody. This is my first OLR ever, and I realize this is gonna be a huge challenge not to be ridiculous. My best time yesterday evening (RX-8 / Laguna Seca) was 1'33.664 with 3-wheels off in turn 3. I expect a big thumb-ache before I can lap under 1'32.

Tips helmet to Flat-out for jumping straight in the ten foot end of the pool :D. Welcome Bud, nice to have you on board. by the way your times don't look rediculous, Besides hanging in the midpack of a Torc is a pretty fair acheivment in my book, with all the super quick guys around. Lots of luck for the season.. and just enjoy it ;)
