- All races must be 100% wall free.
- 2 wheels must be on the track at ALL times (Ripple/Rumble strips are part of the track).

Looking forward to giving it a run tonight, but it will need to be very good to drag me away from the Ferarri event - I've been running the 430 recently for a bit more of a challenge. It will keep up with the all but the very fastest Cali's but you have to drive the door handles off it for 5 laps with no mistakes... and the settings that make it fast enough to compete also make it extremely tricky to drive

Had 3 quick races on this one and it's the easiest race to get 3 clean laps in Torc15 so far 👍
3 clean races in a row and I gotta say this car on default settings at HSR is a million miles away from the way it handles on Suzuka .. being that HSR is so wide and easy to stay off the rumbles
I'm defo looking forward to putting as many hours into this as possible because it's such an enjoyable race and I can see it being nice and close at the finish.

I had 5 races & 3 clean laps, I don't think the AI will interfere a lot here except maybe for drafting which I can see important as last lap without car is slower than 2nd one

Speaking about time for all to compare Last clean saved race was :

Lap 1 50.9
Lap 2 40.8
Lap 3 41.1

I have seen a 40.7 in a previous lap but not on this race

Whats the thoughts on the pavement after turn 1? it can make a couple of tenths when used on lap 1 whilst slipstreaming 2 cars and not having to steer to the right to avoid them!

It was allowed in the Torc warm up at HSR and I don't really see a problem with cutting it as it's tar and as long as we miss the walls it will be no different than when we cut the pavements on the hairpins at London or way back in GT3 when racing at Rome

I'll go with the majority anyway .. anyone any thoughts on this?


edit: 50.8 / 40.4 / 40.7 kept 2 wheels on the cobbled pavements edge just after turn 1 just in case 👍

For me, no problem with our without... I'm used to not use them (only 2 wheels) but this is maybe Tosk decision.

Yeah I usually have a reasonably fast start and then nothing left in the tank after that hahaha

Hi all, I don't known if I am missing something here (I'm new to this) but after setting up the race like describe, my best time so far is:

Lap 1 Full Laptime edited by Mod
Lap 2 Full Laptime edited by Mod
Lap 3 Full Laptime edited by Mod

This is way higher than the lap times posted above... I had also check the best time in time trial mode and the record is about Laptime edited by Mod?

(High speed ring reverse + lotus evora default setting)

This is what you're overlooking, (From the 1st post in this thread, last line.):

Only sector 2 times are to be discussed during a race.

The times you're seeing are peoples T2 splits, not final laptimes.
I've approved your post, but edited out the laptimes you posted.

Please edit (Use EDIT button in the bottom right corner) function to add your T2 splits into your original post now. 👍

Mr P - I thought after all the agro from The Alfa, I figured we all needed some releaf.

Mr P - Now that is a blast from the past, Rome, now that was an awesome track. Your right, it will be no different than before, as long as you stay off the wall.

Skyker - Welcome mate. As Smallhorses as said, you may only discuss T2 or sector 2 times until the race is completed. I'm sure as soon as you compare them, your times will be looking much better.

OK, running on the right track now and enjoying this one

T1's 50.6 40.6 40.8

Got an amazing draft on 1st lap and was a full half second quicker than previous best... but ended up going into turn 1 a touch hot, so a bit more to come yet.

Stotty - I think drafting will be the key with this race, there can be huge differences in lap times. Might need to be a little strategic this week.

hey, ran a few races (2 to 3 hours worth) and unlike last time i had bad ai lineups, could never get any decent 1st laps going, in the end i settled for a lineup that offered easy passing yet very little drafting down the straight on lap 1. T2's were 50.4 and 2 40.4's on the flying lappers.

Too bad I had a 3.50.635 but as I was searching for my cigarette in the ashtray, I consequently moved and slightly touch a barrier..... Invalid run for stupid cigarette

It was a pleasure taking part in Torc again and I would defo take part in the next episode also .. Thanks for giving me something to keep an interest in GT5P Tosk! I'm totally off online racing now but managed to get a few hours for each of these combo's and enjoyed them all

well donw mrp on taking out the victory, i not so uncommonly forgot to submit my time! stupid brain. my flying laps were 1'13.2's with a .9 lap 1. would love to have submitted as i had a really good time running this combo, looking forward to a future torc event, cheers!
