Curious where others are at with total miles driven.

I love the game but don't get that much time to play. It's limited to late evenings after the wife goes to bed, and some weekend time (have to spend quality time with the wife to make sure she doesn't snap my disc in half too).
Anyway, I was looking at friends in the Profile tab, and noticed that I have driven 7,900 miles, and have 413 wins (88% complete * A-lvl 29 B-lvl 24) - nothing spectacular

Checking other profiles, I notice there is a major difference in miles, without a major difference in wins and completion percentage. Ex: someone else shows:
Driven 30,900 miles, and has 460 wins (81% complete * A-lvl 30 B-lvl 33)
(50 more wins, but 23,000 more miles!)
Another person shows 36,000 miles with 381 wins (87% complete)
(fewer wins and 30,000 more miles?!)

Could the mileage be from online play, without showing wins?
I'm curious how others could have 20,000 to 30,000 more miles with fewer or not too many more wins? I ask because I'm decent at this game, but not great. I haven't done any endurance races, but those aren't 5,000 miles. What am I missing. I am a 'numbers guy', someone help me out here.

Im at 13,000 miles and 685 wins. Ive got twice as many wins as them and 20,000 miles less... hmmmm. Id like to know whats up with that too.

He (and i) want to know why those ppl have 20,000 more miles but equal or less wins... btw 120k miles is dam impressive

Reading the first sentence I'd think otherwise.

Good God, Man!?!
Do you have a jobs? Or school, or anything? : )
That is amazing.
I wish someone would have tracked actual race time too.
That has to be a major portion of life right there in the past 3 months.
It's gotta be right up there with sleep time (6-8 hrs a day)

Thank you for sharing, and yes, if anyone can help answer the question too, that would be great.
I appreciate the posts

Do the licence and Special Events count towards mileage? If so your answer might be hidden in there.

22,322.4 miles
713 wins
89% game progress

Jhondoe, can I ask if you have done all license? any online racing (I haven't done any online, but have all license tests. Only about half of the special events. I'm sure Seasonal events don't count.)
Were at about the same percentage, but that's a lot of grinding apparently.
Indy?

Some people overpower the events and just do them once, some underpower and race them over & over again.
Some people spend time in practice mode, doing setups or just driving.
Some people practice for OLR TT events (such as WRS)

Basically race wins vs miles driven is not a metric for skill, but then neither are levels or any other in-game mechanic except perhaps license tests, which not everyone bothers doing anyway.

133.000km
about 950 wins...

many many dream car championchips etc..

56.000km only with the x1, lost 50hp on this distance... (with oil change)

trying to figure mine out: I have NOTHING but golds but my status shows Zero golds but the bronze listing might be correct for the actual gold count. WOnder if this is because my PS3 login is different than my GT5/PSN login

I believe the trophy symbols in the Profile section are only for the lisence tests you've completed. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is all that is.

If you are referring to the profile in game you can click on as with your friends you are correct. You should see 3 trophy symbols gold, silver, and bronze with x (insert number you have achieved in your licensing tests) which does represent the number of corresponding trophies in the licensing events only. Maximum of 60 may be attained with your best trophy for each event only counting as once. Meaning if you get bronze, silver, and gold in the same license test only the gold will be counted etc...

i hve run over 57,000 miles and counting myself. And I'm currently in Iraq. most of my miles have been run in B-spec mode though.

i didn't do any S license, never done any S license in any GT series :sly:. I did dream car championship a very lot, i guess that's where my miles came from.:D

You can see my progress in my sig and I am nowhere near 30000 miles yet. To see over 50000 is impressive to me lol. I guess if you b spec a lot then you can rack up massive amounts of miles.
