At the time of writing, my GT3 completion sits at 98.0% As a part of that, I have 109 bonus cars acquired. To my knowledge, there were ~300 cars in GT3, however the car list available from GTP seems to suggest more in the order of 200. Regardless of the true figure, 109 bonus cars constitutes a huge percentage of cars - I've won 33-50% of the cars in the game! GT4 will no doubt have more competitions, and whilst it also has more cars, if we assume the same number of cars won but with 500 cars available, we're still getting 20% of the cars in the game for free, relatively. So my question is - do you really need more cars for free? I think there's too many as is, I don't think there's a need for more. Can you imagine how many cars Michael Schumacher would own under these sort of systems? One car for the win, one for pole, one for fastest lap, one for the amount of miles he's covered in 200+ races - it'd be insane.

I'm at about 80,000 km's in my GT3 save, so 100,000 seems reasonable (has to be something *really* worth it though.

Yeah but I think they were thing of Miles, Which is roughly 160 000 km's for 100 000miles. That is twice what you have done.

Gosh Gosh Gosh...this all seems a bit unfair :(
Have only just registered and am a bit afraid to post now you've all ripped Caligula1 apart....and he sounds like a really nice guy!
Gonna be careful what I say on here lol

I cannot believe the mood some of the people on hear are in (hint hint!) Just take no notice, not everyone is like that! post what ya want!...its not always like this.....

I think its cause GT4 is getting closer that they are getting fed up with waiting. We had had even a thread about the recient "flaming".

Madduck UK.....that was soooooo uncalled for!

I seriously hope the drag racing isn't like Need for Speed: Undergrounds'. I don't hate NFS:U's version, but don't think it belongs in a GT game.

That's ok, no one's perfect. Welcome to GTP. I thought Madduck was trying to make a joke personally. Most of us haven't ripped Caligula to pieces, if we object, we explain the reasoning behind our arguement. You get the odd bad apple like me but most people aren't me, fortunately.

In GT3 you drive approx 13500 km's or 8500 miles to reach 100% complete doing each race once. This figure will increase if you quallify for races.
Arcade distance (using arcade cars only) and license test distance does not count to game distance recorded.
At 100% you win a F1 car as a prize.
As eagle said above there are more than enough car prizes on offer.
As your distance driven increases you will boost your prize money meaning you have more than enough credits to buy every car you want.
Prize total after 100% complete doing every race once is approx 11,000,000 credits.
There will be more than enough prize cars and events in GT4 not to warrant giving awards for distance driven.

More ladies on GTPlanet? Always a good thing!

Welcome to the Planet, Feel T G-Force! I'm John of Houston, TX, USA. Nice to have you here. So we may have more ladies than our own McLaren'sAngel. But anyhow, nice to have you on GTPlanet. "Enjoy your stay," as we say about new members.

Welcome to GTPlanet... other Jordan. Jordan is the Webmaster and basically... DA MAN on GTPlanet. But nice to have you on nonetheless, Jordan_GTC.

we have one at 80,000km (approx 50,000 miles), does anyone have an odometer reading above 100,000 miles? I have an 85 rx7 that started with 58,891 and am thinking about b-spec'ing a few b level 9 hr endurance races just to see the odometer over 100,000. I think about it, then I find myself making fun of myself 5 seconds later for such a lame idea. I think I am going to do it though.

Point of the post, anyone near 100,000 miles???
