GTCC Nurburgring Nordschleife test
I'm not expert level and dont have green hell memorized completely and I don't have time to test over and over so these times are all very beatable, but here's my results.

Rules: no assists besides abs-1

Lexus IS F racing concept '08

Tune ripped from somewhere in tuning forum

max power 752HP
max torque 548 ft-lb
weight1350kg
mileage: 144 miles
time 7:03.7
Best top speed, sticks to road like glue, choppy on corners, maybe too tight?
-----------------------

Audi R8 lms race car (team playstation) '09

No rebuilds, no tune, full upgrades

717 hp
500 ft-lb
1300 kg
4,681 miles
7:01.65
Loose rear end, smooth as butter to drive, the time actually surprised me, it felt sluggish.
----------------------

Mercedes CLK Touring car '00

No tune, no rebuilds, full upgrades

625 hp
469 ft-lb
1000kg
1,180 miles
6:50.755 (6:47 w/tune)
Wow, lowest power and weight combo takes the cake. Good torque and great handling, though it feels a little bumpy. Winner hands down. I easily beat the dream car nurb with best lap pf 8:07.
----------------------

ABT Audi tt-r touring car '04

No tune, no rebuilds, full upgrade

625 hp
1080 kg
468 ft-lb
7:07

Car is squirrely, doesn't grab the track well. But fun.

A shame people anways upgrade these cars to the max... Why bother? DTM/race car's are what they are... They are made to race... Leave them alone imo.

I have them all still in the spec that I bought them. Well I put a turbo on the Vauxhall Calibre for Bob, he's useless.

I think with the game as it sits, so much fun can be had "grinding" the Ring in the DTM. Well if you call ripping around the Ring with some of the best cars ever made for that task "grinding".

I dont I call it awesome. Next DTM car please...........

I've got the Opel. I added soft racing tires and a turbo. It'll pretty much wipe out anything the AI can throw at it on the German Touring Car events, the same is true about other even under "extreme" (1st event, level 20)

I purchased it when it first showed up at the OUCD, I needed a German car for the first German event, so there you go

Exco

IMO the whole point is to have fun in the game. I dont find it fun when the AI crashes into me and puts me out of a race if I have a similarly powered vehicle so I'd rather earn my cred and exp by having a clean, fast race where I smoke the AI and compete against my own times.

In this part of the world, all of these cars and races are unheard of, besides certain few media, so they carry no sentimental value, just another european racecar. (But I think they would be much better to watch on a sunday afternoon than Nascar) I'd rather just max em out, sorry if that takes meaning from your experience, no offense intended, I'll track my findngs elsewhere.
