Kaneda's Bike from "Akira"

thanks for the reply's everyone. I'll be honest.

I started the thread and just lost the time to complete it. I need to find a way to make the pics small links so that the page loads faster and i can get many more additions for what everybody wants.

If you don't see what you want on there, make a post and with a few pics of the bike and info like:

1. Engine and chassis (if available)
2. Who rode and raced it (if available)
3. What championships or races it took part in.

Also, as most of you can see, i have very little knowledge on motocross bikes but feel they are important to the TT2 experience in the same way rally cars are essential to GT5. Kinda weird because i do know about Dakar bikes quite a bit. I wouldn't even oppose mini moto bikes (pocket bikes) as long as they are professional to the point where they often compete in a championship for them. Sidecars are a good addition too.

If i get some time in the future, i'll redo this thread to be something special.

My goal is to do something like this....
http://www.forocompeticion.com/foro/index.php?topic=1559.0

Remember, just cause my taste doesn't match yours, doesn't mean it shouldn't be included. I want as much variety as possible. Nothing wrong with seeing a Honda Gold Wing attacking the Corkscrew.

Hi. I'm really impressed by your list. You should open a site for this.
Listen, I have some good things in mind for TT2, not just motorcycles.
So if you want to make a forum or site dedicated to TT2 I could support you with my ideas. to change size of photos use "irfan view".
I'am Italian so these are the bikes that should not be missed!
( Almost all these bikes are not on your list! )

First of all thank you and second, sorry for the very late reply. I wasn't getting posts so i stopped checking updates. I sort of made this thread into a collection of important race and street bikes that were race track oriented. I used to have a number of the bikes you mentioned but i felt a Ducati Monster or an MV Brutale are street fighters and there fore not high speed race pedigree machines.

Another issue is scale. I'd rather get a new displacement for a bike such as a Ducati 1098 going up to 1198 instead of having a new fairing design. There are a few cases where i made exceptions but for the most part, i tried to ensure the bike was there first. In the real world, a fairing can be changed easily.

Call me crazy but I want to see the next Tourist Trophy or any Polyphony motorcycle game use PS Move controls. I absolutely cannot enjoy GT5 without a wheel. It adds soo much immersion that anything else just feels despicable. Which is why I feel adding PS Move controls would be perfect for the next TT. Imagine the using the Move controller as your throttle and the trigger being the front brake. Would be awesome with two Move controllers where you can do complete realistic motorcycle counter-steering to control the bikes.

How would you plan on implementing that? I don't think it would ever be as realistic as using a wheel and pedals with car sims. I mean seriously, how are you going to knee scrape without falling over (since you are not going to have a g's to keep you from falling)?

Tourist Trophy and no Isle of Man inside? Man, it's ridiculous!
So, now you know what is most important thing here :)

TT2 would have to have Suzuki TT Superbikes physics instead of that junk from before. The trailbraking physics were ridiculous.

I wouldn't say it was junk. For it's time it was very good and much better than even this gen's Moto GP imo.

..i agree
the acceleration in the Suzuki game was MONSTER..
the handling was great too ...
but everything else sukked:dopey:

MotorMinded I took the patience to read the entire list (From today if you made any changes from 3 years ago) and I must say I am very impressed, but however as other people might have stated I notice you focus alot on the Race Bikes which is great but GT has also focus on the lesser cars of the spectrum, I have a feeling if Polyphony Digital were to release TT2 they would still Focus on the Fastest bikes of today (Or its time) but also focus on bike that revolutionized bikes for ever.

Exp: (you probably already have some of these bikes on your list but I'm just letting you get an idea of what I'm talking about)
Dodge Tomahawk (Yes I know, no one has ever clocked its true top speed but its a cool bike)
Harley Davidson Sportster
Harley Davidson XR750
Honda CB350 Four
Honda CB 750F
Honda 90 + Honda Super Club
Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan (2nd Generation)
Kawasaki KZ900
Yamaha XT500
Vincent Black Shadow

But again I do commend your very good list. I too will be adding an extension to your list except I'm going in the direction of MX instead of street bikes... if PD would add it which would be sweet!!

Tourist Trophy 2 wish list eh ? Well I have one: PLEASE JUST MAKE THE GAME !
I would even settle for a HD remake of the first TT.

If you can add a MX list, that would be very helpful. I'll look those bikes over.

Dude, I am with you on this one 100%. I am also glad to see that there is a good number of people out there that want this game just as badly as I do. Hell, I bet majority of us would help PD to create the game if we could.

I would trade half of those bikes away for the ability to put a specific brand of exhaust and tires on the bike. model included.

I want TT2 so bad.. and I am very frustrated that there will be a 6th GT before a 2nd TT. Kazunari or however you spell his name is PD's tool. He wants to make a TT2 and has since 2009 but he is a slave to SONY and PD. I will for sure be boycotting GT6 and any other PD game until we get our TT2!!!

and honestly.. the GT5 game in North America sold like no units compared to past GT's. Sick of your crap PD and your patches for the game that just resolve one problem and create 5 more. So I say screw your GT6 sales. You'll just be selling your new drug to the new kids on the block. We need a better drug and the only fix is a solid made Tourist Trophy2.

I rest my case.

More info being added by edit

-RM Supermotos (the whole FIM S1 Supermoto roster)
-Street Tards like HM Moto CRM F450R, Aprilia SXV550, KTM 690SMC, Husqvarna SM510R, etc etc
-IOMTT track and bikes
-more city courses with free mode similar to driving around in GTA 5

The best thing about TT was the breadth of its bike roster, despite it being relatively meagre in total number (by GT standards - pun intended).

Scooters, off-roaders, cruisers, tourers, standard bikes and, yes, those seemingly beloved supersports, all represented. What's also important is the historic aspect; where bikes came from, what pivotal points they passed through etc.

Imagine what the course creator could do for bikes. Think endless enduro runs, or supermoto circuits, open Dakar / Baja areas, or just a nice alpine wind on a nimble and torquey naked.

And that sound update; want to hear the difference between a 3-1 and the stock 3-2 on your XS750? Easily done, with no real extra effort from PD.

Paintable parts, numbers, tuning etc. would be great.

All of this online, too.
