Still room for improvement. :banghead:

edit: Made some very good(for me) improvements. Have really started to enjoy this track. Have gotten much better at the section between T1 and 2.

Really enjoying this game. Have time between GT4 races. Should have put in some game time years ago. At about 50%. Doing the challenges and knocking off a race here and there. Invited some guys I saw posting over at TT. Hopefully we can build this up some more. You don't want me to place third? lol.

I'm already really enjoying this and I've only done a few laps! I love the changes in elevation and the bumps you've got to watch out for, it's really fun. 👍

i really hate the bumps and the end of the be straight. I screw up a lot of good laps their :-(

same as on Deep Forest

never been 1 of my favourites, so i'll just keep it to my first run of 10 laps and see where it gets me. Don't think i'm gonna win this one

Trial Mountain ranks right up there with the Nurburgring for crash potential per mile. :scared: The little 250 is a joy to ride here compared to the R1.

Here's my official vote for the same points system for all classes.

Fine with me.

I'm in. will start practice now.

Official thingymajigger:
Team: IT'S A TARP! Racing
Number: 12 (the RC162 is 100)
Bikes:
In the 1000 Class: Ducati 999RM
In the Naked class: Yamaha SR400RM (yes, and I'm sticking with it to see how it does against the likes of an MV Agusta Brutale or triumph speed triple.)
In the 250 Class: Honda RC162 (If I can't, then the 93 NSR250R SE RM)

well you won't be competative in the nakeds and 250's, but you know that

quirky choices, but no doubt you'll have fun :D

actually, I did it mostly to say that when I get murdered, I was on a slower bike, hehe.

the RC162 and SR400 are both good bikes. they hold up surprisingly well for their apparent age.

Welcome tupacrulez. The RC162 Rocks! It's one of my overall favorite bikes in the game. I wish I would have though of using it. :dunce: I'd be up for a RC162 series on every track. That would be epic.

Anyone care to specify what bikes I can use for each class? I've had the game for about a week and a half and have finished the license tests and am slowly working through the challenge series and have about... 20 something bikes right now. So just a bit of clarification is needed for me to understand what bikes can run where.

Go to rd 1 & 2 threads. List of the bikes we chose. I think it's pretty much up to you as long as you don't pick one that's excluded. I think Balang_479 covered that in the 1st post. I got the Yamaha after only a couple of days and entered the 250cc class. I wanted to see how I compared to the others with the same bike. Have the others now but not enough time to run them all. Why get beat in three classes. lol.

RESULTS are IN

Impressive times on such a fast bumpy track, were youre always on the edge of control and grip.

Overall standings have now switched to a normal setup, hopefully things are now simpler and easy to understand, but it does give people running more classes a greater advantage.

Here are the overall standings:

Woah, I went faster than I thought! I was hoping to get into the 1'29s, but I didn't really give this round enough time. I did some laps on Monday, then tried again on Thursday and I was 1 second off. :irked:

Anyway, congrats to DJ Baker on the win! Great job everyone else! 👍

wow, I was 3 seconds off the pace on my Ducati, ran a 1:33.4xx IIRC.

however, my RC162 and SR400 did better than I thought, running ~10 seconds off the pace in the naked class (considering that most of those bikes had a solid 120+horse and mine had...22) and the RC162 was just 7 off, if I am recalling correctly. not bad for a 2.5 mile mid speed track and a 40+ year old bike.

decided to not submit here because trial mountain ain't my playground. it's fun and all, but i just don't get the times i want at all. will have to enter the next one though.

i'm kinda disappointed in the lack of variety in the 250class, weird that everyone chose the same bike. no Honda fans here?

Enter them all. Why let us have all the fun. You just told us what your time was in the Duke. Jump in the water's great. I chose the Yamaha because it was avail. at the time. I had only started playing the game. The Honda 93 NSR250R SE RM is a nice bike though.
